Wolf Creek Canyon Relay

Event Overview

It’s a beautiful 28 mile run through the Wolf Creek Canyon. These 28 miles are divided into 4 legs, with each leg being chip timed by Competitive Timing. The teams can consist of 8, 4, 2, or solo runners.

• Team Options: Teams can be made up of 8, 4, 2, or solo runners.
• New Category: An 8-person team has been added to encourage more participation.
• Leg Structure: Each leg can be divided into 2 runners, allowing for flexibility.
• Encouragement: The goal is to promote participation in the beautiful canyon.

Timing and Splits

The division would be entirely up to the participating team members and these splits will not be recorded by chip timing, only at each leg exchange, as normal. Each participant is still required to pay the individual entry fee in order to receive the awesome swag and chip timing at each leg exchange.

• Chip Timing: Each leg will be chip timed by Competitive Timing.
• Entry Fee: Each participant must pay the individual entry fee.
• Swag: Participants will receive awesome swag at the event.
• Team Responsibility: Each team is responsible for their own team members throughout the race distance.

• Date: October 4, 2026
• Location: PO Box 3144, Wolf Creek, MT
• Start Times:
  • Slower teams start at 7:30 AM (5 hour max).
  • Faster teams start at 8:30 AM.
• Entry Fee: Every participant running is required to pay the individual $40 entry fee.
