Dash for Down Syndrome

Race Overview

Dash for Down Syndrome raises funds and awareness for the Eastern Idaho Down Syndrome Family Connect organization. This is a day of celebration for the local Down syndrome community, their families, and supporters. We want to thank all of the sponsors, volunteers, and individuals who make this race possible.

Event Information

• Date: August 22, 2026
• Location: Snake River Landing, Idaho Falls
• Registration: First 900 registrants receive a SWAG BAG
• Deadline: Register by July 15 to guarantee a race t-shirt

Participation Details

• Eligibility: Participants in the 10K or 3.21-mile race may also participate in the fun run with one registration.
• T-Shirts: Not guaranteed for registrations after July 15
• Medals: Available at the finish line: bib must be worn to receive

Special Information for Individuals with Down Syndrome

Individuals with Down syndrome who are registered for any of the three races will get a t-shirt, an engraved medal, and a racecourse poster. They will be highlighted on race day to celebrate their successes! If you are registering an individual with Down syndrome please choose the "Individual with Down Syndrome" registration option so we can make sure we have everything ready for them at the race! Packet Pick-Up

• Date: Friday, August 21, 2026
• Time: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM
• Location: Eastern Idaho Down Syndrome Family Connect Office, 1675 S Woodruff, Idaho Falls, 83404
• Notes: Packet pick-up can be done by someone else without prior notice

Timing and Starting Times

• Timing: 10K & 3.21 Mile will be timed by Vector Timing
• 10K Start: 8:45 AM
• 3.21 Mile Start: 9:00 AM (Walkers and Runners)
• Fun Run Start: 10:30 AM (Group photo after this event)

Event Amenities

• Parking: Available at the event site
• Restrooms: Available at the event site
• Course Information: Clearly marked with signs and staffed with volunteers
• Fun Run: Less than a mile, shirts available for purchase only

Results and Volunteers

• Results: Vector Timing will upload results to Run Sign Up
• Volunteers: Needed to assist: please contact Rochelle Larsen to participate
• Group Involvement: All groups such as church, scout, or work groups are welcome
