Dash for Down Syndrome

🎉 Race Overview

Dash for Down Syndrome raises funds and awareness for the Eastern Idaho Down Syndrome Family Connect organization. This is a day of celebration for the local Down syndrome community, their families, and supporters. We want to thank all of the sponsors, volunteers, and individuals who make this race possible.

📅 Event Information

• Date: August 22, 2026
• Location: Snake River Landing, Idaho Falls
• Early Registration: The first 900 people who register are guaranteed a SWAG BAG!
• Shirt Guarantee: 10K and 3.21 Mile participants registered before July 20th will receive a race t-shirt.

🏅 Participant Information

• Medals: Medals will be awarded at the finish line: bibs must be worn to receive medals.
• Fun Run: 10K or 3.21-mile participants can also run in the fun run without extra registration.
• Individuals with Down Syndrome: Will receive a t-shirt, engraved medal, and a racecourse poster.

📦 Packet Pick-Up

• Date: Friday, August 21, 2026
• Time: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM
• Location: Eastern Idaho Down Syndrome Family Connect Office, 1675 S Woodruff, Idaho Falls, 83404
• Proxy Pick-Up: Someone may pick up your packet without prior notice.

⏰ Timing and Start Times

• Timing: 10K & 3.21 Mile races will be timed by Vector Timing.
• 10K: Starts at 8:45 AM
• 3.21 Mile: Starts at 9:00 AM (for both walkers and runners)
• Fun Run/Walk: Starts at 10:30 AM

🚻 Facilities

• Parking: Available at the event site.
• Restrooms: Available at the event site.
• Course: The routes will be clearly marked and staffed with volunteers.
• Race Map: Included in each swag bag for easy navigation.

🏃‍♀️ Fun Run Details

The Fun Run starts at 10:30 AM, covering less than a mile. No shirts are provided for the Fun Run, but they are available for purchase during registration.

Results will be uploaded to Run Sign Up by Vector Timing.
