Dash for Down Syndrome

🎉 Event Overview

Dash for Down Syndrome raises funds and awareness for the Eastern Idaho Down Syndrome Family Connect organization. This is a day of celebration for the local Down syndrome community, their families, and supporters. We want to thank all of the sponsors, volunteers, and individuals who make this race possible.

📅 Event Information

• Date: August 22, 2026
• Location: Snake River Landing, Idaho Falls
• SWAG Bags: The 1st 900 people who register are guaranteed a SWAG BAG!
• T-shirts: 10K and 3.21 Mile participants registered BEFORE July 20th will be guaranteed a race t-shirt.

🏅 Registration Details

• After July 20th: Participants will not be guaranteed a race t-shirt.
• Finisher Medals: Medals will be available at the finish line. You MUST HAVE YOUR BIB ON to receive your official medal!
• Fun Run: If you register for the 10K or 3.21-mile race, you may also participate in the fun run without needing to register separately.
• Registration for individuals with Down syndrome: Please choose the "Individual with Down Syndrome" registration option for proper arrangements.

📦 Packet Pick-Up

Friday, August 21, 2026, from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Eastern Idaho Down Syndrome Family Connect Office, 1675 S Woodruff, Idaho Falls, 83404. You may have someone pick up your packet for you. If you have any questions, contact Rochelle Larsen at 208-716-6504 or dashfordownsyndrome@gmail.com.

⏱️ Timing and Bibs

Vector Timing will be timing the 10K & 3.21 Mile Run. You will get your chipped bibs at Packet Pick-Up on August 21st.

🕒 Starting Times

• 10K: 8:45 am
• 3.21 Mile: 9:00 am (Walkers and Runners)
• Fun Run/Walk: 10:30 am
• Group Photo: There will be a group photo right after the Fun Run/Walk and BEFORE the medal ceremony!

🚗 Parking and Restrooms

Both will be available at the event site.

🛣️ Miles and Turns

The courses will be clearly marked with signs and staffed with uniformed volunteers. Please follow their instructions for your safety. A race map will be in each swag bag.

🏃‍♂️ Fun Run

Starts at 10:30 AM. The course will be less than a mile. NO shirts are given for the Fun Run, but are available for purchase when you register.

📊 Results

Vector Timing will upload results to Run Sign Up.

If you or someone you know is not running/walking but would like to be part of the experience, please email Rochelle Larsen at dashfordownsyndrome@gmail.com. We welcome groups as well, such as church, scout, work, school, or neighborhood groups.
