Northbrook District 27 PTA 5K, 1 Mile and Kid's Dash

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Event Types: The District 27 Council PTA 5K Run/Walk, 1 Mile Run, and Kids’ Dash are designed for family and community fitness for all ages!
• Course Certification: Both the 5K and 1 Mile courses are USATF certified and will be professionally timed.
• Course Changes: The 5K course has been simplified to one loop, and the Kids’ 1 Mile race will take place entirely in the park.
• Kids' Dash: Includes a warm-up exercise session and an exciting dash with an obstacle course.

🎓 Scholarship Fundraising

• Purpose: This event will raise money for the Rohrabaugh Scholarship Fund.
• Award Recipients: The fund awards scholarships to outstanding Glenbrook North High School seniors who are graduates of Wood Oaks Jr. High School.

📅 Registration Details

• Price Increase: AFTER AUGUST 31st, at 12:00am on 9/1/25, prices will increase and participants are not guaranteed a t-shirt.
• Early Registration: Please register early if you want a T-shirt!

🎽 Packet Pick-Up

• Location: Packet Pick-up takes place at Wood Oaks Junior High School (specific location details to be announced closer to the dates).
• Pick-Up Times:
  • Thursday, September 25th from 4-6pm
  • Friday, September 26th from 2-6pm
  • Saturday, September 27th from 6:30-7:45am
