Northbrook District 27 PTA 5K, 1 Mile and Kid's Dash

🏃‍♀️ Event Overview

• Event Date: 2025-09-27
• Location: 1250 Sanders Rd, Northbrook, IL
• Race Types: 5K Run/Walk, 1 Mile Run, Kids’ Dash
• Course Certification: Both courses are USATF certified and professionally timed.

🎉 Family and Community Focus

• Fitness Promotion: This event aims to promote fitness for all age groups!
• Simplified Course: The 5K course has been simplified to one loop.
• Kids’ Course: The Kids’ 1 Mile race will take place entirely in the park.
• Exciting Activities: The Kids’ Dash features a warm-up exercise session and an obstacle course.

💰 Fundraising Efforts

• Scholarship Fund: Proceeds will benefit the Rohrabaugh Scholarship Fund.
• Scholarship Recipients: The Fund awards scholarships to outstanding Glenbrook North High School seniors from Wood Oaks Jr. High School.

📅 Registration Information

• Price Increase: After August 31st, prices will increase at 12:00am on 9/1/25.
• T-Shirt Availability: Registrations after the price increase are not guaranteed a t-shirt (only cotton shirts if available).
• Early Registration: Please register early if you wish to receive a T-shirt!

📦 Packet Pick-Up Details

• Location: Wood Oaks Junior High School (specific location details to be announced).
• Date: Thursday, September 25th from 4-6pm
• Date: Friday, September 26th from 2-6pm
• Date: Saturday, September 27th from 6:30-7:45am
