👟 Event Information

• Date: September 21, 2025

🚴‍♂️ Race Details

• Race Lead: There will be a race lead on bike for runners & walkers.
• Refreshments: We will provide beverages before the race and also at the water station at the halfway point for participants. We will provide orange paper cups for water and purple paper cups for sports drinks.
• Gear Check: We will also provide a complimentary gear check for all participants.
• Distance Markers: There will be distance markers at every half mile of the race to indicate where you are.

🕣 Warm-Up & Packet Pick-Up

• Warm-Up Starts: We will give a quick announcement then warm-up stretches starting at 8:30 am.
• Packet Pick-Up: Packet pick location is 13307 Olde Western Ave St, Blue Island, IL 60406.
• Day of Event: If you cannot make this day, you may pick up your packet the day of the event at 8 am.
• Awards: After the race is completed, we will announce awards and prizes.

📜 Race Rules

• No Unauthorized Devices: NO bikes, skates, or scooters.
• Strollers: Strollers are permitted but will start with the walkers, not runners.
• Wheelchairs: Wheelchairs are also permitted and will begin with the walkers.
• Chip Timing: This race will be a chip-timed event. Our hired company, Affordable Race Timing will post results on a digital screen as soon as you finish.

🥇 Awards

• Male Awards: First, second & third placed by a male will receive an award.
• Female Awards: First, second & third placed by a female will receive an award.
• Overall Winner: Overall winner will receive a prize.

🅿️ Parking Instructions

• Location: The parking for our 5K event will once again be under the Western Ave bridge off Broadway Rd between Olde Western and Rexford Dr.
• Assistance: Volunteers will be on hand to assist you.
• Side Streets: Be advised that there may be some parking on side streets surrounding the Guildhaus but please pay attention to any restrictions that are in place.
• Safety: Please be safe and courteous let us help you.

💰 Refund Policy

• No Refunds: There will be no refunds for this event.
• Cancellations: If this event is canceled, you will receive an email notification with information to reschedule.
