🚴 Race Details

• Race Lead: There will be a race lead on bike for runners & walkers.
• Beverages: We will provide beverages before the race and at the halfway water station.
• Cups: Orange paper cups for water and purple paper cups for sports drinks.
• Gear Check: A complimentary gear check for all participants will be provided.

📏 Distance Markers

• Markers: Distance markers at every half mile of the race to keep you informed.
• Warmup: Quick announcement then warmup stretches at 8:30am.
• Packet Pick-Up: Thursday 9/18 4pm - 7pm & Friday 9am - 12pm.
• Pick Up Location: 13307 Olde Western Ave St, Blue Island, IL 60406.

🏆 Awards and Prizes

• Post-Race: Awards and prizes will be announced after the race.
• Categories: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female will receive awards.
• Overall Winner: Will receive a special prize.
• Timing: This race will be a chip-timed event.

🚫 Race Rules

• No Bikes: NO bikes, skates or scooters allowed.
• Strollers: Permitted but will start with the walkers, not runners.
• Wheelchairs: Also permitted and will begin with the walkers.
• Timing Company: Affordable Race Timing will post results on a digital screen.

🅿️ Parking Instructions

• Parking Location: Under the Western Ave Bridge off Broadway Rd.
• Volunteers: Volunteers will assist in parking.
• Side Streets: Be aware of parking restrictions around the Guildhaus.
• Safety: Please be safe and courteous: let us help you.

• No Refunds: There will be no refunds for this event.
