Snoqualmie Tunnel 5k Glow Run

🎉 Event Overview

• Date: Saturday, July 12th, 2025
• Location: Palouse to Cascades State Park Trail - Hyak Parking, Snoqualmie Pass, WA
• Type: All-ages, 5k walk or run through the historic Snoqualmie tunnel
• Illumination: The tunnel will be partially lit with LED lights

🍔 Post-Race Celebration

• Venue: Dru Bru (Sno Pass)
• Activities: Outdoor block party with food, games
• Drinks: Beer, cider, wine, and soda available
• All-ages: Everyone is welcome to join the celebration

• LED Gloves: $14.50 (available until 6/29)
• Participation Medal: $6.00 (available until 7/11)
• Pick-Up: Race merch available onsite the day of the event

🏃‍♂️ The Race

• Wave 1: Runners Only. Must be able to complete a 5K in under 45mins
• Check-In: Gear pick-up from 9:00am - 9:50am
• Start Time: Race starts at 10:00am
• Wave 2: Joggers/Walkers/Strollers, starts at 10:45am

🌌 Course Details

• Loop Course: Starts and ends at the Palouse to Cascades State Park - Hyak Trailhead parking lot
• Course Description: Approximately one mile inside the tunnel, turn around, and run/walk one mile out
• Lighting: LED lights throughout the course, personal light recommended

🚗 Parking Information

• Lot 1: Hyak Trailhead lot requires a Discover Pass.
• Lot 2: The Summit East Lower Lot, a 5min walk to the event, no Discover Pass required.
• Purchasing Pass: Discover Pass can be bought onsite or online here.
• Note: Lot fills up fast, arrive early!

❄️ Tunnel Conditions

• Darkness: Be prepared for extreme darkness and cold temperatures
• Temperature: Average of ~50 degrees, wear a long-sleeved shirt or light jacket
• Ground Conditions: Compacted gravel surface
• Lighting: Personal lights recommended in addition to LED illumination

🚲 Event Policies

• Bikes: This is a bike-free event. Strollers allowed.
• Public Access: The tunnel remains open to the public: bikes may be present but are not part of the event.
• Kids: Kid-friendly: children 4 and under are free and do not need to register.
• Dogs: Animals are not allowed due to the number of participants.
