• Event Type: 5kish run through Deerfly infested woods of Grand Mere State Park.
• Catch & Raise: Catch deer flies with a Tred-Not Deerfly Patch & raise $$$ to help fight Alzheimer's disease.

Catch deer flies with a Tred-Not Deerfly Patch & raise $$$ to help fight Alzheimer's disease. Although we hope your time flies with us (see what I did there?), this is not a timed event.

• Winning Criteria: The winner will be determined by who "caught" the most number of deer flies.
• Counting Flies: Yes, we will actually count the deer flies.
• Rules: There are no set-in-stone rules except you must have deer flies to be in the running to win.
• Prizes: Prizes to top 3 collectors!

FYI This is year 15 of the Jack Settles Deerfly Stomp!!!

• Previous Years: Over the past 14 years we have caught approximately 2700 deer flies (plus at least 1 horsefly...grrrr).
• Donations: Donated over $11,000 to the Alzheimer's Association!
