🏃♂️ Race Overview
Get Ready! The Running of the Santas is coming this December.
San Antonio RoadRunners is continuing the tradition of the best Santa Run in San Antonio. The Santa Antonio Run, previously put on by the BISH Foundation, will donate a portion of the race proceeds to Cancer Research.
Santa Antonio Run and Kids Elf Run. We will have a LIVE IN-PERSON and a Virtual Option.
⏰ Race Start Times
- 7:45am: Kids Elf Run
- 8:00am: Timed 5K
- 8:05am: 1 Mile fun run
- New Category: CANCER SURVIVORS will have awards for the top three participants.
🏅 Race Route and Events
Race results will be available HERE during and after the race.
- Kids Elf Run: Kids 1-10 will run a quarter mile before the Santas take off. Kids receive a finisher medal.
- Santa Antonio 5K: Chip-timed with awards given by chip-time. Overall and Age-group awards are available.
- Santa Antonio 1-Mile Walk: Not timed and will not have awards.
- Finish Line: Participants of the 5K and 1-Mile Walk will receive a complete Santa Suit and a Finisher medal.
🎉 Costume Contest and Refreshments
- Costume Contest: Dress up in your best Santa outfit or Christmas costume. Awards for Best overall, Best kids, and Best pet costume.
- Refreshments: Water and post-race refreshments will be provided at the finish line.
- Early Registration: Discount for SARR members and age-based discounts available until 11/16/25.
🌐 Virtual Race Details
- Run Anywhere: The Virtual Santa Antonio 5K allows you to run or walk from any location at your own pace.
- Results Submission: Submit your results online after completing your 5K.
- Finisher's Certificate: Available for download upon submitting your time.
- Participation: Complete your race between December 13, 2025, 12:00 am and December 31, 2025, 11:59 pm.
📦 Packet Pickup
Highly recommended to pick up your packet before race day. Friends and family can pick up for you.
Race Day: 6:15-8:15 am
