Shine Your Light Mental Health Awareness Run/Walk

Event Overview

• Location: 2600 Arbor Avenue, Nebraska City, NE
• Purpose: Raise awareness for mental health and eliminate stigma surrounding mental illness and suicide.
• Hope: Provides support for those battling mental health issues and those who have lost loved ones.

Event Details

• Kick-off Time: 9 a.m. on Memorial Day
• Location: Nebraska City’s Arbor Lodge State Park
• Participation: Walk or run at your own pace: not timed or distanced.
• Route: Pre-determined route through Arbor Lodge or blaze your own path!

Support and Activities

• Literature: Supportive mental health literature will be available.
• Raffle: Participate in the raffle during the event.
• Support Staff: Available until 11 a.m. for assistance.
• Packet Pickup: Begins at 8 a.m. on the day of the event at Arbor Lodge Whispering Bench.
