Who

• Organization: Tawas Wellness is a local nonprofit offering affordable wellness opportunities for Iosco County!
• Partners: We are excited to work with the Tawas Area Chamber of Commerce.
• Event: Host for the 2026 Tawas Summerfest 5k/10k!
• Proceeds: All proceeds will be divided between Tawas Wellness's community programming and the Tawas Area Chamber of Commerce's firework fund.

What

• Options: 5k (3.1 mile) Run or Walk, participants register in the appropriate division.
• 10k: 6.2 mile Run only.

Where

• Location: Race Start/Finish: The Collective.
• Address: 821 Newman St. East Tawas, MI, 48730.

When

• Date: 11 July, 2026.
• Start Times: 8:30am (10k start): 9:00am (5k start).
• Medal Ceremony: 10:15am.

Cost

• Registration Fees: 5k/10k - $30 / $35.
• Day of Race: $35 / $40.
• Discount: $10 off for ages 10 and under.

How

• Pre-Registration: ONLINE, Click "Sign-up" above.
• Day Before Registration: Packet Pickup at Tawas City Shoreline Park 12-6pm.
• Race Day Registration: Packet Pickup 7:30 - 8:45am at The Collective.

Timing

• Method: Race will be chip timed by A2 Race Management.

Awards

• Runners: M/F Overall, M/F (1st, 2nd, 3rd) U13, U18, U30, U40, U50, U60, U70, 70+
• Walkers (5k): Overall 1st, 2nd, 3rd.

Notes

• Fees: All fees are non-refundable.
• Presence: You must be present to receive a T-shirt & awards.
• T-shirts: Available to first 200 registered. Sizes are not guaranteed.
