Who

• Organization: Tawas Wellness is a local nonprofit offering affordable wellness opportunities for Iosco County!
• Collaboration: We are excited to work with the Tawas Area Chamber of Commerce.
• Event: Hosting the 2026 Tawas Summerfest 5k/10k!
• Proceeds: All proceeds will be divided between Tawas Wellness's community programming and the Tawas Area Chamber of Commerce's firework fund.

What

• Race Types: 5k (3.1 mile) Run or Walk: participants register in the appropriate division.
• 10k: (6.2 mile) Run only.

Where

• Location: Race Start/Finish: The Collective, 821 Newman St. East Tawas, MI, 48730.

When

• Date: 11 July, 2026.
• Time: 8:30am (10k start): 9:00am (5k start): Medal Ceremony at 10:15am.

Cost

• General: 5k/10k - $30 / $35.
• Day of Race: $35 / $40.
• Discount: $10 off for ages 10 and under.

How

• Registration: PRE-REGISTRATION ONLINE: Click "Sign-up" above.
• Packet Pickup: Day Before Registration at Tawas City Shoreline Park 12-6pm.
• Race Day Registration: Packet Pickup from 7:30 - 8:45am at The Collective.

Timing

• Chip Timing: Race will be chip timed by A2 Race Management.

Awards

• Runners: M/F Overall, M/F (1st, 2nd, 3rd) U13, U18, U30, U40, U50, U60, U70, 70+.
• Walkers: (5k) Overall 1st, 2nd, 3rd.

Notes

• Refund Policy: All fees are non-refundable.
• T-shirt & Awards: You must be present to receive a T-shirt & awards.
• Shirts: T-shirts available to first 150 registered. Sizes are not guaranteed.

Important Information

• Strollers: Strollers are welcome, but please no pets or bikes.

• Parking: Overflow parking at the East Tawas Community Center (760 Newman St).
