🎖️ Purpose of the Race

• Benefit: All proceeds benefit the SSgt. Jason Hicks Memorial Scholarship Fund.
• Honoring Heroes: Jason and five other US Air Force Combat Search and Rescue airmen were killed in action while on a humanitarian mission in Afghanistan in 2003 as part of Operation Enduring Freedom.
• Community Impact: The Scholarship has been awarded annually to a graduating senior from Central High School in Pageland, SC, which was Jason’s alma mater.
• Legacy: This race is in its 12th year, continuing Jason's legacy.
