🏃♂️ Welcome to NCR Marathon
Welcome to the 37th running of the NCR Marathon presented by the Baltimore Road Runners Club.

- Date: Saturday, November 28, 2026
💰 Registration Information
- New Price: $1- price increase across the board!
- Reason: Running is already expensive enough with carbon shoes & the cost of travel IN 2026.
- Registration Cost: Just a $1- increase from 2025.
🏅 Race History
- Age: The NCR Marathon is Baltimore’s oldest continuously running USATF certified marathon.
- Historic Background: BRRC presented the Maryland Marathon since 1973 before moving to the trail in 1990.
- Trail Information: The Northern Central Railroad Trail, known as the Torrey C. Brown Trail, covers nearly 20 miles.
🏞️ Course Details
- Scenic Route: The out and back marathon course offers a scenic wooded run on a crushed gravel and dirt trail.
- Setting: The course runs alongside the waters of Big Gunpowder Falls—an idyllic setting to cruise 26.2 miles.
- Start Location: Originally at Old Sparks Elementary School, now at the beautiful Oldfields School campus.
🏆 Finisher's Rewards
- Finishers Blanket: All race finishers receive a large blanket after crossing the finish line.
- Quality: This is not your average beach blanket: it’s warm & soft, coveted even by pets!
- Requirement: Present your race bib to receive your blanket.
