🎯 Mission Statement

• Support: To support the children and siblings of those who have been killed in action, missing in action, listed as prisoner of war, or deemed 100% disabled due to their service.
• Scholarships: Assisting in the child's education through the Living Legacy Scholarship.
• Donations: Registration cost goes to the organization to continue hosting races.
• Impact: All donations beyond registration cost go directly to the Living Legacy Scholarship.

⏳ Race Details

• Duration: Runners have exactly 12 hours to cover as many miles as possible.
• Flexible Participation: Runners can sleep, eat, leave and come back, and stop running whenever they want.
• Goal: The run tests how far participants can push themselves.
• 10K Option: A 10K option is available for those who want to support us outside of the 12 Hour Endurance Run.

📍 Location

The Ohio State University Oval

• 10K Details: The 10K is In-Person or Virtual and participants will receive a t-shirt.
• Trophy: The 1DK trophy is exclusively for the 12 Hour Endurance Runners.
• Start Time: The 10K will start at 8am with the Ultra Marathon!
• Registration Includes: A race packet with a race t-shirt, race bib, medal, and more!

🙌 Sponsored Runners

One of our premier fundraising methods is our Sponsored Runners. Before the run, these runners will secure sponsorships from friends, family, and anyone who may want to contribute to the cause. By sponsoring a runner, donors agree to donate a specified amount per mile that their runner covers in the 12 hours.

If you register as a sponsored runner or team, you will need to become a fundraiser when you go through the registration process.

💰 Fundraising Opportunities

Thanks to the generous contributions of others and the all-volunteer aspect of our team members, 100% of the profits raised through:

• Sponsored Runner Sponsorships: Contributions made to sponsored runners.
• Corporate Sponsorships: Donations from businesses supporting our cause.
• Day of Race Donations: Contributions made on the day of the event.
• Scholarship Specific Donations: Funds designated for scholarships.

Go toward our Living Legacy Scholarship endowment fund. Race registration fees are traditionally attributed to race and organization operational funds.
