Race Overview

• Event Description: The 10th annual Resiliency Run features a 5k run through the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, honoring strength and recovery from traumatic and burn injuries in our community.
• Purpose: This event acknowledges survivors, their loved ones, and caregivers who support individuals in their recovery journey.
• Beneficiary: Funds raised will benefit trauma and burn survivors receiving critical care at MetroHealth.

Event Schedule

• Registration/Packet Pick Up: 7:00 AM
• Kids Dash: 8:15 AM
• 5K Run/Walk: 8:30 AM
• 1 Mile Run/Walk: 9:00 AM

This event is rain or shine, so come prepared for weather in northeast Ohio!

Registration Details

• Pre-Registration: Until Friday June 6, 2025 at 9 AM
• Event Fees:
• 5K: $35
• 1 Mile (not timed): $35
• Kids Fun Run: $20

Packet Pick Up

• Pre-Race Day: Friday, June 5, 2025 from 11 AM - 2 PM at MetroHealth Main Campus
• Race Day: Registration/Packet Pick Up begins at 7:00 AM
• Race Day Fees:
• 5K: $40
• 1 Mile (not timed): $40
• Kids Fun Run: $25

Participant Amenities

Participants will receive a short-sleeved t-shirt and post-race refreshments, with Zoo admission valid all day.

Supporters

Supporters wanting to cheer on runners/walkers will need to purchase wristbands for zoo entry, even if they are zoo members. Ticket prices are $10 cash or check.

Awards Ceremony

In lieu of finisher awards, we will be honoring the resiliency of our survivors and community members. Please join us at 8 AM for this awards ceremony!

Virtual Event

Virtual 5K and 1 Mile: $30.00

While physical distancing, we can still come together to raise awareness, generate funds, and help MetroHealth. Register to participate and complete the 5K or 1 Mile race on your own, outdoors or on a treadmill.
