Race Overview
We welcome and support runners of all levels from beginners to experienced marathoners!
Walking Program
- Supportive Community: A friendly group that welcomes both walkers and runners of any ability and experience.
- Social Opportunities: Many locations allow for socializing afterwards, providing safe routes for longer distances.
- Commitment: Many of our members have been with us for years!
- Join Us: Come join us for a fun and effective training experience!
Training Events
- Upcoming Marathons: Train for Key West Marathon, Running from Yeti, Tulsa Oilers Arena Challenge, and others.
- Walking Group: An All Walking Group for those who cannot or do not wish to run.
- Training Locations: Various locations in Gainesville, mostly on smooth asphalt paths that are scenic and away from traffic.
- Encouraging Atmosphere: Our members are friendly and very encouraging.

Is This Group Right for Me?
- Training Approach: The Jeff Galloway training approach is suitable for all levels and all ages!
- Goal Focus: We focus on achieving your goal distance, injury-free while having fun and building fitness.
- Free First Session: Bring a friend and join us for one of our Saturday morning weekly group runs (first session is free).
- Locations: We meet at various locations in Gainesville, mostly on safe and scenic asphalt bike paths.

Gainesville Galloway meets on Saturday mornings in different parts of Gainesville, using routes that are safe and scenic, focusing on preparing for half and full marathons. We welcome all levels and experience.
