Childhood Language Center's Firecracker 5K Run/Walk

🎉 Race Location & Celebration

• Starting Point: The race will be starting and finishing at Magic Island!
• Support: Help support Childhood Language Center by participating in 2025's Firecracker 5K Run/Walk!
• Family Friendly: Celebrate Independence Day with this fun race and support a great local cause! RUN, WALK, RIDE a bike...bring your entire family (even your dogs!) and participate.
• Partnership: We are excited to partner with Charleston's Sternwheel Regatta as their official race again this year!

🏃 Registration Information

• After June 28, 2025: $45 for Adults
• Youth Pricing: $25 for Youth (11-18 years)
• Free Entry: Kids 10 & under can participate for free.
• Proceeds: All proceeds benefit children at the Laurance Jones, III Childhood Language Center - a free speech therapy clinic for children.

📅 Race Details

• Date: Saturday, July 5th - 8:00am
• Location: Magic Island
• Race Route: Start/Finish at Magic Island (Turnaround Point is Big Lots)

📦 Race Packet Pick-up

• Date & Time: Thursday, July 3rd from 10am-3pm
• Location: Childhood Language Center (1313 Quarrier Street, Charleston, WV)
• Alternative Pick-up: If you are unable to pick up your bib and shirt on Thursday, you can pick up prior to the race on Saturday. Registration will open at 7am on July 5th.
• Benefit: All proceeds benefit the Childhood Language Center to provide free speech and language therapy services to children across West Virginia.
