Sonder & Friends Oktoberfest 5K

EVENT OVERVIEW

Sonder Brewing 5K Run/Walk celebrating Oktoberfest benefiting Greater Project, serving children in need in our community and beyond!

EVENT DETAILS

• Location: Sonder Brewing, Mason, OH
• Activities: Local breweries serving German beers, festive food, kids activities, live music and all day festival!
• Participant Perks: Free beer ticket or root beer, finisher medal, and an after party following the race.
• Awards: Medals for all finishers and awards for top 3 male/female finishers. Prizes for largest team and best individual and team Oktoberfest costumes.

KIDS ROOT BEER RUN

The Root Beer Run 10 yard or 50 yard fun dash takes place after the 5K on the course and ends over the finish line. Registered kids receive their own swag bag, root beer, sweet treat and finisher medal!

Groups will be divided by age (toddler - 10 years of age):

• 3 years and under: 10 yard dash (parents welcomed to run alongside their toddler)
• 4-5 years: 50 yard dash
• 6-7 years: 50 yard dash
• 8-10 years: 50 yard dash

PACKET PICK UP

• Date: Friday, Sept 25th from 3:00-7:00pm at Sonder Brewing
• Date: Saturday, September 26th from 9:00-9:30am at Sonder Brewing
• Note: In person registration available Saturday before the race.

RACE SCHEDULE

• Time: 10:00 am - 5K Run/Walk Start
• Time: 11:15 am - Awards Ceremony Begins
• Time: 11:30 am - Kids Root Beer Fun Run… music and after party begins!

Greater Project is Cincinnati based 501(c)3 certified non-profit. Our goal is to create generational change. We connect people with opportunities to invest in the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children in our local community, Kenya and India.
