Sopchoppy Worm Grunting Festival Wiggle Worm Fun Run

🎉 Event Overview

Come join us on Saturday, April 12, 2025 for the Sopchoppy Worm Grunting Festival Wiggle Worm Fun Run! This family-friendly event, which officially kicks off the 23rd Annual Sopchoppy Worm Grunting Festival, is a 1.4 mile Fun Run that meanders through historic downtown Sopchoppy, Florida. Walkers and runners are both welcome!

📝 Registration Information

• Early Registration: $20 (on or before March 20) includes a race T-shirt.
• Late Registration: $25 and includes a race T-shirt (if available).
• Children's Registration: Kids 12 and under are $15 for both early and late registration, but a T-shirt is only guaranteed for early registrants.
• No T-Shirt Option: A $10 option will be available on race day.

🏅 Awards and Prizes

Awards will be given to the first three men and the first three women to cross the finish line, as well as to the first three boys aged 12 and under, and the first three girls aged 12 and under to cross the finish line. All registrants will receive a fuzzy worm necklace and a hand-painted 2025 Worm Gruntin' Festival rock!

⏰ Race Day Schedule

• Registration Start Time: 7am on the day of the race.
• Fun Run Start Time: 8am.
• Attire: Participants can come dressed in your best “worm” attire, or in normal race wear.
• Start & Finish Lines: The race will start at the intersection of Rose Street and Orange Street, and will end at the intersection of Rose Street and Summer Street.
