Strides for Recovery

Event Overview

Kick off Recovery Fest 2025 with the Strides for Recovery 5K Run/Walk – a powerful community event supporting individuals in recovery from addiction and celebrating the solution: health, hope, and wellness.

This Year’s Events Include

• 5K Run: Join us for a competitive run.
• 1 Mile Walk: A casual stroll for all ages.
• Kids 1 Mile Run/Walk: Fun for the little ones.
• Start Time: All events start promptly at 9:00 AM and are professionally timed by Eastside Racing Company.

Event Highlights

• Entertainment: Enjoy music before and after the race!
• Refreshments: Water stations, snacks, and smoothie shots available.
• Community Focus: A chance to support the recovery community.
• Participation: Whether you run, walk, or cheer, join us in the solution.

Race Options

Choose from the following:

• 5K Run or 1 Mile Walk: Suitable for all ages and fitness levels!

Registration

• Cost: $25 per participant (Includes T-shirt if registered before deadline and until supplies last).
• Kids Pricing: $5 for Kids 1 Mile Run/Walk (Ages 17 and under).

Awards & Medals

• Overall Winners: Top Overall Male & Female Runner – 1st Place Award.
• Age Group Medals: Medals for Top 3 Finishers per age group.
• Age Groups: 18–25 | 26–35 | 36–45 | 46–55 | 55+
• Kids Awards: Certificates for all kids who participate!

Post-Race Celebration

• Refreshments: Free Smoothies, Snacks, and Water for all participants!
• Family Fun: Join us for family-friendly activities at Recovery Fest.
• Community: Celebrate connection, recovery, and community!

Skip the lines on race day! Pre-packet pick-up will be available at The Root Juicery, 206 Huron Ave, Port Huron, MI 48060 on:

• Thursday, September 11th | 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
• Friday, September 12th | 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
