Upward Running presents: Memorial Day Weekend Color 5K Walk/Run is for all ages!

Join us for the Color Run! Enjoy a Color 5K Walk/Run suitable for all ages this Memorial Day Weekend! This untimed 5K Run/Walk allows for unlimited fun! Every participant will receive a free t-shirt! Friendly race volunteers will shower you with waves of colorful powder as you navigate the course! Once you cross the finish line, the excitement continues – immerse yourself in music, capture photo opportunities, savor delicious food from the Sour Pig Food Truck, indulge in the amazing shaved ice from Tuscoe’s, and get ready for even MORE colorful powder to be released in the ever-popular Grand Finale Color Zone!

This Memorial Day weekend, we will listen to the National Anthem and participate in a moment of silence to honor those who sacrificed for the freedom we enjoy today.

👧 More Fun for the Little Ones!

Free Color Dash! Right before the 5K begins! All kids under 12 years old are eligible to run. This will be a fun, short race through a cloud of color!

📝 5K Registration

• Early Registration: $25.00 March 14th-May 15th, including free shirt, bib, and color packet. (Kids under 5 years of age can enter the 5K at no charge, and no registration is required. If race items, t-shirts, are desired, they must register and pay full price.)
• Late Registration: $30.00 May 16th-26th, bib, and color packet (these race items are not guaranteed after May 15th- T-shirts not available after the deadline)

❤️ Service Project

A donation from each adult registration will support Our Military Kids, a non-profit organization that honors the sacrifices of children with deployed National Guard, deployed Reserve, or post-9/11 combat-injured service members. They offer grants for extracurricular activities that build children's self-confidence, promote family wellness, and foster a sense of community. Any additional proceeds will go to our NextGen ministry at Heritage.

🌈 Extra Color

Extra color packets will also be available on race day while supplies last. They are $3 each or 4 for $10.

⏰ Race Day Schedule

• 10:00 AM-11:00 AM: Registration opens and color packets are on sale, $3 each or 4 for $10.
• 11:00 AM: Church service on campus at Heritage (optional)
• 12:00 PM-1:00 PM: Registration opens again, and color packets are on sale, $3 each or 4 for $10.
• 1:00 PM: Registration closes
• 10:05 PM: Starting line/National Anthem, a moment of silence
• 1:10 PM: Kids Color Dash!
• 1:15 PM: LET THE COLOR RUN BEGIN!
• 2:15 PM (approx): Grand finale color splash
