• Distances: 5K, 6 mile, and 12 mile loop
• Location: Around beautiful Upper Caney Lake near Minden, Louisiana
• Trail Description: Set in the slight hills and oak flats of the Kisatchie National Forest
• Terrain: It's not too hilly, not too rocky, and not too root laden. It's just right!

Runner Experience

• Style: This is an "Old School Style" trail run
• Beginner Friendly: A perfect first timer's race!
• Entry Fee: There is no need to pay the $5 usage fee: it has been covered this year by securing the day use area.
• Awards: Overall male and female winners in each race will receive an award of some type.
