Event Overview
- Annual Festival: The Hoag OC Marathon Running Festival includes four different runs during the first weekend in May annually.
- Kids Run: Saturday morning begins with the award-winning Hoag Kids Run the OC, where nearly 9,000 kids from over 150 Orange County schools participate.
- Celebrate OC Festival: The afternoon features the CELEBRATE OC Festival with local sports teams, craft brews, iconic brands, and live music all day.
- 5K Event: Later on Saturday, the OC 5K takes place, offering a fun, flat tour of the OC Fairgrounds and nearby Orange Coast College followed by the Celebrate OC Finish Festival.
Sunday Events
- Early Start: Sunday morning begins early in Newport Beach.
- Marathon & Half Marathon: The exceptional OC Marathon & Half Marathon course blends chic coastal scenery, tranquil nature, and sophisticated arts and shopping.
- Scenic Route: Enjoy breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and cruise down historic PCH through the seaside village of Corona del Mar.
- Finish Fest: Finish with a huge party at the Sunday Celebrate Finish Festival at the OC Fair and Event Center.
