Race Details

• 5K Course: Starting and ending at Elizabethtown Brethren in Christ (EBIC) with a loop through Elizabethtown streets.
• Kids Run: No event fee: approx. 1/4 mile course available.
• Sponsors: Kids run sponsored by Tatted Toy Guys and LIV-Etown.
• Swag: T-shirts to all 5K participants signed up by November 5th: finisher's medal for all 5K finishers.

Family and Fun

• Family Friendly: Create memorable Thanksgiving traditions.
• Thanksgiving Day: Exercise before your feast: “Catch” a stuffed turkey for a gift card.
• Awards: Age group awards by 10-year age groups and overall finisher awards – Thanksgiving style!

Registration Information

• Online Registration: Available until 4:00 PM on November 26, 2025.
• Day of Registration: Starts at 6:45 AM on November 27 at EBIC.

Parking Information

• Restrictions: DO NOT park in blocked-off areas of the parking lot or on grassy areas at the church.
• Limited Parking: Available at the EBIC parking lot: overflow parking at nearby schools and streets.

Important Notes

• No Dogs: Although we love our furry friends, dogs are not allowed on the race course for safety reasons.
• No Refunds: The Great Turkey Chase does not offer refunds under any circumstances.

Contest Information

1. Family Gathering Contest

• Award: For the biggest family gathering at the Great Turkey Chase.
• Entry Forms: Available at the ECHOS table in the registration area.
• Eligibility: Each family member must be registered for a race (5K or Kids Fun Run).
• Prize: Family gift pack worth ~$100.

2. Costume Contest

• Award: For individuals and groups showing the most Thanksgiving Day Spirit.
• Eligibility: Must be participants in the 2025 Great Turkey Chase 5K.
• Photo Submission: Must submit photos for qualification between 6:30 AM and 12:00 Noon.
• Winners: To be announced on the Great Turkey Chase Facebook page by December 1, 2025.
