• Discounts: Members of the Friends of Oscar Scherer Park can email for a discount coupon code.
• Club Discounts: Members in good standing of local running and triathlon clubs with membership on RunSignUp will have their club membership discount applied automatically during registration.

🌲 Race Overview

• Annual Event: Join us for the 26th annual 5K and Scramble 10K.
• Course Details: The 5K is road-runner friendly with some trails: the Scramble 10K presents a more challenging trail course.
• Post Race Party: Finish at the Nature Center with a post race party by the pavilions.
• Convenience: Everything is within a short walk of the parking areas.

🌳 Scrub Jay 5K Details

• Course Design: Designed with road-runners in mind, featuring hard packed surfaces.
• Scenic Experience: Enjoy the beauty and nature of Oscar Scherer Park.
• Surface Features: Expect tree roots and sections with sugar sand.
• Route: Start near the Nature Center and travel through various park trails.

🏞️ Scrub Jay Scramble 10K Details

• Trail Course: A challenging course featuring the parks' natural elements.
• Course Changes: A slight detour for 2025 to avoid damaged areas of the Orange Trail.
• Designed For: Trail runners, utilizing the park's features for an exciting experience.
• Course Challenges: Includes ups and downs with recently created pedestrian underpasses and overpasses.

🎖️ Registration Benefits

• Finisher's Medal: Custom medal for all finishers.
• Post-Race Food: Features hot dogs (veggie dogs on request), fruit, and other snacks.
• Race Shirt: Receive a snazzy tech race shirt (while supplies last).
• Shirt Inventory: Shirts ordered three weeks before race day: sizes are available only while supplies last.

🕒 Race Timing and Awards

• Start Type: 5K and Scramble 10K are gun start with a chip-timed finish.
• Results: Available on-site and can be texted or emailed if opted in during registration.
• Awards Overview: Overall and category awards for various age groups.
• 5K and 10K Age Group Awards: 3-deep awards for multiple age groups from 9 & under to 90 & over.
