Parking

• Available: Public parking lots and on-street parking.
• Notice: Please follow all posted signs and do not park in unauthorized lots, because you will be towed.

Race Course

• Certification: This closed race course is USATF certified.
• Route: Runs along Kenosha’s scenic lake front harbor and historic district.
• Water Stations: Three water stations for runner safety.

Race Timing

• Chip Timing: ONLY THE 5K IS CHIP TIMED.
• Location: The chip is located on the bib.
• Requirements: Bibs must be worn front and center on your t-shirt for accurate timing.

Race SWAG

• Participants: T-shirts & participant medals to the first 600 entrants.
• Size Availability: Sorry size cannot be guaranteed: size preferences will be given in order of registration date.

Registration Prices

• Effective Dates: Prices are for both races, regardless of age.
• Pre-registration:
  • $23 from March 1st-31st (Early Bird)
  • $28 from April 1st-April 30th
  • $33 from May 1st - May 31st
  • $38 from June 1st - June 24th
  • No registration on June 25th
• Last Chance Registration: $48 at Kenosha YMCA only on Saturday, June 26th 9am-2pm.
• Notice: No Race Day Registration.
• Policy: Race entry fees are non-refundable.

Packet Pick-up Options

• Option 1: Saturday, June 26th from 9:00am - 2:00pm at the Kenosha YMCA (7101 53rd St., Kenosha, WI, 53144).
• Option 2: Sunday, June 27th (Race Day), 7:00-8:00am in Library Park.

Awards

• Ceremony: Held immediately after the race.
• Categories: Awards for 5K ONLY: Trophies awarded to the male & female winner.
• Medals: Award medals to top 3 male/female in both races for 14 & under, 5 year age groups, and 80+.
• Pick-up: Awards available for pick-up at the Kenosha Y Member Service Desk until Sunday, July 11th.

Results

• Posting: Live posted results online!
• Link: Results URL will be provided the day of the race.
• After Race: Individual results posted online at www.kenoshaymca.org.
• Publication: Overall results printed in the Kenosha News.

General Race Guidelines

• Decisions: All race decisions of the Firecracker officials prevail on event day.
• Accompaniment: All Runners age 10 and under must be accompanied by a registered "Running Buddy."
• Wearing Bibs: Runners must wear their bib numbers on front of their bodies.
• Safety: Headsets and ear buds are highly discouraged.
• Restrictions: No bicycles, roller-skates/blades or skateboards: Baby strollers allowed in 5K and 1 Mile.
• Conduct: No unauthorized assistance or unsportsmanlike conduct: No foul language.
• Health Check: Each participant should be checked by a physician prior to competing.
• Beverages: NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES allowed in the park.
• Course Integrity: Participants responsible for following the course and signage: Deviations disqualify from awards.
• Weather Policy: YMCA reserves the right to cancel/modify race for safety.
