Participation Details

Race, run, walk, or jog. Sign up for 5K or 5 miles or run the 1-mile family fun run. Enjoy meeting people while celebrating culture. Running is universal.

• RFID Chip Timing: Provided by Itz About Time.
• Age Division Awards: Recognizing top performers.
• Custom Medals: Cool custom cast medals and Cinco De MILES authentic event t-shirts.

Race Site: BOLSA CHICA STATE BEACH (lot 25.)

Parking Information

Come in the main gate at 17851 Pacific Coast Hwy, Huntington Beach, Ca. 92649 and turn right, going to the very last lot which is closest to Warner and PCH. Have $15 credit card ready at the gate per car, or a park pass.

You can also find limited free and hourly parking behind the Jack in the Box on PCH and Warner and along that inner road in Sunset Beach, and jog into the state park on running sidewalk.

Race Day Schedule

• 6:30 am: Registration OPENS. Shirts are given with bibs at registration. Medals when you finish.
• 7:45 am to 8:15 am: Folclórico Performance, Dancing Horses, Mariachi Music.
• 8:00 am: START of Cinco de Mile fun run. (1 Mile).
• 8:30 am: Mass START of 5K/5 Mile.
• 9:15 am: Start of 5k AWARDS CEREMONY.
• 9:30 am: Start of the 5-mile AWARD CEREMONY.

Additional Information

Bring EXTRA CASH FOR STREET TACOS, AGUA FRESCA, FRESH FRUIT, GALLETINAS AND SPECIALTY COFFEES.

FINISHER MEDALS: to every Finisher.

Age Division Awards

5-year Age Spans: 3 deep with 5-year age spans for both 5k and 5 Mile: 1-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & over.

Top 3 Overall Trophies to Males & Females plus award to Oldest finisher and Youngest finisher.

Pet & Stroller Policy

• Pets: Friendly Pets are allowed and must be leashed at all times and accompanied by a Run/Walk participant.
• Stroller Policy: Families can bring strollers, but agree to use at their own risk. Line up towards the back of the pack at the start.

Please make sure your BIB is in the front and visible to our volunteers. Watch for cyclists enjoying the same beach bike path you are running on. The race will take place rain or shine. RESTROOMS are in the public buildings at the end of each of the parking lots.
