Brooklyn Heights On the Run 5k

Race Overview

Join us for the 13th Annual Brooklyn Heights On the Run 5K & 1-Mile Walk.

Proceeds from the race will go to the Park Board organization, which funds the Easter Egg Hunt, Christmas Stockings & Santa visit, summer concert in the park, and community newsletter.

Race Day

• Date: Sunday, October 11, 2026
• Packet Pickup: 8:00 am in the Brooklyn Heights Community Center
• Kids Dash: 8:55 am (50 yards, 8 & under)
• Start Time: 9:00 am for 5K Run & 1 Mile Walk

Location/Course

This course begins at the Brooklyn Heights Community Center and takes participants through mostly flat surrounding residential streets.

5K/1 Mile Registration Fees

• 12 and Under: $15
• Standard: $25
• Registration Form: A paper entry form can be found HERE and mailed to Hermes Sports & Events by 10/5/26

• Timing: 5k Chip Timing
• Refreshments: Provided for participants
• Door Prizes: Available for participants
• Race Shirt: All participants will receive a race shirt

Top 3 male and female finishers in the following age groups:

• 17 and under
• 18-30
• 31-50
• 51 and up

Additional Information

Dogs: Dogs are allowed, but we ask that you line up in the back and have a short leash.
