The Glenside Fire Company – Stop, Drop & Run 5K is a fundraiser that benefits the all-volunteer Glenside Fire Company No. 1 in Glenside, Pennsylvania.

Race Details

• Date: 2026-10-11
• Location: Glenside Fire Company Firehouse, 210 W. Glenside Avenue, Glenside, PA
• Start Time: 5K run and 1.5 mile “fun” run/walk
• Course: Two loops through scenic streets of Glenside: 1.5 mile run/walk is untimed and completes one loop

Post-Race Celebration

Come for the exercise, but stay for the fun! All race participants will be provided with breakfast foods and plenty of water. Those who are of age (21+) and interested will be able to join us in our beer garden for a complimentary beer. Entertainment and other amenities will be highlighted on our Facebook page www.facebook.com/GFC5K as race day approaches.

Entry Fee

• Pre-registration: $30.00 if registered by September 25th (includes long-sleeved race shirt)
• Late Registration: $35.00 for entrants registered after September 25th, including Race Day
• Shirts: May be available for late registrants depending on availability

Awards

Medals will be presented to:

• Top Overall Male and Female Finishers
• Top Male and Female Finishers in each age category: 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
• Top 3 Male and Female Finishers in kids' categories: 7 and Under, 8-10 years, and 11-14 years

The race will be professionally timed by the Bryn Mawr Racing Company. Results can be found at www.brynmawrracing.com.
