Heart Healthy 5K and Fun Walk

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Organizer: The University of Findlay College of Pharmacy chapter of the American Pharmacists Association - Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP) is hosting its 10th Annual Homecoming 5K and 3rd Annual 1.4 mile Fun Walk!
• Date: Join us for the Heart Healthy 5K and Fun Walk on Saturday, October 11th, 2025, during the University of Findlay's Homecoming Weekend.
• Charity: A portion of the event proceeds will be donated to the American Heart Association.
• Course: This year’s Heart Healthy 5K and Fun Walk will feature a brand new path that starts and finishes at the Griffith Memorial Arch on Findlay's campus.

🕖 Registration Details

• Time: Registration/packet pick-up will begin at 7am on Saturday, October 11th, in front of Old Main (1000 N Main St. Findlay, OH 45840) and will take place until 8:45 am.
• Activities: During registration (7-8:45am), students from the College of Pharmacy will be hosting tables with fun and educational activities for participants to visit.
• Raffle Entry: After visiting all the student tables, you will be eligible for entry into this year's raffle drawing with fun and exciting prizes!
• Start Time: The race will begin promptly at 9am with professional timing provided by Run Toledo.

🏅 Post-Race Activities

• Raffle Drawing: After the race is done, the drawing of winners for the raffle prizes will begin. You must be present to win.
• Physical Therapy: At the conclusion of your 5K or Fun Walk, students from the University of Findlay Doctor of Physical Therapy Program will be offering FREE post-race physical therapy including injury screens, cupping, massage, and stretching!

🚗 Parking Information

• Location: Please park at Winebrenner Theological Seminary back parking lots (950 N Main St. Findlay, OH 45840).
• Cost: Parking is free and a quick walk to the registration area.

• Submission: Virtual participants submit your race times at the following link: Race Time Submission Form

📅 Race Day Timeline

• 7am: Registration/packet pick-up opens (1000 N Main St. Findlay, OH 45840).
• 7-8:45am: Visit our student tables for entry into our raffle drawing.
• 8:45am: Pre-race announcements at start line.
• 9am: 5K and Fun Walk start!
• ~10am: Raffle prize drawing (must be present to win) and Post-race physical therapy including injury screens, cupping, massage, and stretching.
