The 41st annual Sunrise Stampede is right around the corner—and you won’t want to miss this legendary back-to-school tradition! Join us the weekend before school starts for a fun, family-friendly morning packed with community spirit and support for our incredible St. Vrain schools.
Race Details
- 5K Run +: 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk: Great for all ages and paces!
- Beautiful Courses: Enjoy our beautiful open space trails in this milestone year.
- Back-to-School Kickoff: Reconnect with classmates, teachers, and friends!
- Sponsor Alley: Games, giveaways, and activities for the whole family.
Competitions and Prizes
- School Spirit Challenge: The SVVSD school with the most participants wins a trophy and cash prize!
- Prizes for Top Runners: Awards in age categories for the 5K.
- Costume Contest: Team and individual winners will receive prizes!

Best of all, proceeds support the St. Vrain Valley Schools Education Foundation’s Teacher Innovation Grants, including Special Education and Mental Health grants that empower educators and uplift students.
