🏃‍♀️ HICF 5k Race Description

The Hatteras Island Cancer Foundation, an all-volunteer non-profit organization, provides support for cancer patients and their families who live on Hatteras Island. Founded in December 2000, the group’s primary goal is to raise funds to offer financial support for patients to help them pay for medical costs not reimbursed by insurance and to pay for travel expenses for themselves and their caregivers to medical centers for cancer treatment.

🌈 Color Blast Race

• Colorful Experience: Different stations will be set up to "blast" you with color, using colored baby powder that is not harmful to humans or clothing.
• Dress Code: It's recommended to wear race T-shirts or white clothing for the full effect of the color blast.
• Event Details: The 5k race costs $45, open to runners, walkers, bikers, and strollers. It is a timed event, and walkers and strollers are requested to start at the back of the pack.
• Gratitude: Thank you for your support and participation in this colorful and meaningful event.
