Purpose: The Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter who lost his life on September 11, 2001.
Honor: Participants honor all of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, and support our first responders and military.

How far is a Tunnel to Towers 5K Run, Walk, & Climb?
Distance: This is a 5K (3.1 miles). You are welcome to walk or run this event.
What is the best time to register?
Registration: The best time to register is always RIGHT NOW.
Pricing: Registration is tied to a price tiering system where prices increase after certain periods.
Registration amounts are as follows:
Adult: $25 (Promo Rate), $35 (After Promo Rate), $40 (Month Before Event), $45 (Day of Event)
Military & First Responder: $20, $30, $35, $35
Teen: $10, $20, $25, $30
Child: $5, $10, $15, $20
What is the age limit?
Age: There is no age limit. All are welcome!
Is there parking available?
Location: Limited parking at Shouler Park.
Street Parking: Feel free to use local street parking where permitted.
Where can I pick up my packet (Race bib and T-shirts)?
Pickup Options: Check back closer to event time for more pickup options.
Event Day Pickup: Available the morning of the event at Shouler Park.
Can someone else pick up my packet for me?
Yes: They must present a copy of your registration receipt.
Do I have to wear my bib number?
Requirement: Yes, please display your bib on the front of your outermost garment.
I am a fast runner. Can I get a front line position?
Pacing: Runners predicting a faster pace may make their way to the front based on space availability.
Will the event be timed?
Timing: Yes, the event will be timed, and you can use a smartphone or watch to keep track of your time.
Will water be available?
Hydration: Water will be available at the start/finish.
Limited Supply: Very limited water at the start line: please hydrate before or bring water with you.
Will there be food at the event?
Food: No food will be provided at the event.
What can you bring to the event?
Personal Belongings: You are responsible for any personal belongings you bring.
Can I run with a stroller, backpack, wheelchair, roller blades, bicycle, etc?
Accepted Items: You can participate with a stroller, wheelchair, and/or backpack.
Prohibited: No roller blades, bicycles, or pets.
What should I wear if I am participating?
Attire: Wear comfortable clothes and shoes: patriotic colors are encouraged.
