🏃‍♂️ What is a Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk?

• Description: The Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001 after strapping on his gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers.
• Purpose: Honor all of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 and support our first responders and military who make extraordinary sacrifices in the line of duty!

📏 How far is a Tunnel to Towers 5K Run, Walk, & Climb?

• Distance: This is a 5K (3.1 miles).
• Participation: You are welcome to walk or run this event.

🕒 What is the best time to register?

• Timing: The best time to register is always RIGHT NOW.
• Price Tiers: Registration is tied to a price tiering system where the price increases occur one week after the opening of registration, one month before the event, and on race day.

💵 Registration amounts are as follows:

• Adult: $25 (Promo Rate), $35 (After Promo Rate), $40 (Month Before Event), $45 (Day of Event).
• Military & First Responder: $20, $30, $35, $35.
• Teen: $10, $20, $25, $30.
• Child: $5, $10, $15, $20.

👶 What is the age limit?

• All Ages: There is no age limit. All are welcome!

🚗 Is there parking available?

• Availability: There is limited parking at Shouler Park.
• Local Regulations: Feel free to use the local street parking so long as it is permitted. Please follow all local parking regulations.

📦 Where can I pick up my packet?

• Pickup Options: Check back closer to event time for more pickup options but packet pickup will also be available the morning of the event at Shouler Park.
• Authorization: Yes, someone else can pick up your packet for you if they present a copy of your registration receipt.

🏷️ Do I have to wear my bib number?

• Display Requirements: Yes, please display your bib on the front of your outermost garment.
• Course Regulations: Those who run without a bib will be asked to leave the course and will not be allowed to finish.

🕰️ Will the event be timed?

• Timing: Yes, the event will be timed.
• Personal Tracking: You are also more than welcome to use a smartphone or watch to keep up with your own time.

💧 Will water be available?

• Water Stations: Yes, there will be water available at the start/finish.
• Hydration Advice: Please hydrate before the event starts, or bring water with you if necessary.

🍔 Will there be food at the event?

• Food Availability: No.

👕 What should I wear if I am participating?

• Clothing: The general public should wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
• Patriotic Colors: We encourage everyone to wear patriotic colors and carry flags if you would like. We LOVE to see Red, White, and Blue!
• Uniforms: Military and first responders are encouraged to wear their gear/uniform, or anything that signifies what department or branch you serve.

🎉 As a participant, can I fundraise/encourage others to donate?

• Fundraising Pages: Yes! Once you are registered, you will be given directions to start your own fundraising page and will be able to accept donations online.

💰 Does my registration fee count towards my fundraising goal?

• Registration Fees: Registration fees help offset some of the expenses associated with making the Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk one of the country’s greatest annual events.
• Fundraising Appreciation: We recognize each fundraising milestone that is reached with prizes branded with the Tunnel to Towers logo.

❓ Can I get a refund? Can I transfer my registration?

• No Refunds: Unfortunately, ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
• Transfer Policy: You may transfer your registration to another participant. For instructions, please email us.

👕 Will I receive an event T-shirt?

• Inclusion: Your registration fee includes a T2T North Conway event T-shirt.
• T-shirt Guarantee: T-shirts are not guaranteed for participants that register on race day. To guarantee you receive a 2025 event T-shirt, you must register by June 16th.

📣 Are friends and family that are not registered allowed to attend?

• Attendance: Of course! They can cheer you on at the start, course or finish line.
