🏅About the Event
The Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk Series honors the heroic life and sacrifice of Stephen Siller, a firefighter who gave his life on September 11, 2001. This event supports first responders and military personnel who make sacrifices in the line of duty. For more on the foundation, visit t2t.org.
📏Distance
This is a 5K (3.1 miles) event. Participants are welcome to walk or run.
🕒Registration Timing
The best time to register is right now! Registration prices increase after one week, one month before the event, and on race day.
💵Registration Fees
- Adults: $25 (Promo), $35 (After Promo), $40 (Month Before), $45 (Race Day)
- Military & First Responders: $20 (Promo), $30 (After Promo), $35 (Month Before/Race Day)
- Teens: $10 (Promo), $20 (After Promo), $25 (Month Before), $30 (Race Day)
- Children: $5 (Promo), $10 (After Promo), $15 (Month Before), $20 (Race Day)
🎟️Age Limit
There is no age limit for participants: everyone is welcome!
🚗Parking Information
Parking is limited at Shouler Park. Please utilize local street parking and follow all regulations.
📦Packet Pickup
Packet pickup will take place closer to the event: on the day of the event, it will be available at Shouler Park.
👤Packet Pickup by Another Person
Someone else can pick up your packet if they present a copy of your registration receipt.
📄Wearing Bib Number
Yes, display your bib on the front of your outermost garment. Participants without a bib will be asked to leave the course.
🏁Front Line Position
Runners predicting a faster pace may move to the front of the line based on space availability.
🕰️Event Timing
The event will be timed. You're also welcome to use a smartphone or watch to track your time.
💧Water Availability
Water will be available at the start/finish. Please hydrate beforehand or bring your own water.
🍽️Food at the Event
There will be no food provided at the event.
👜Personal Belongings
You are responsible for your belongings. Please secure anything you do not want to carry in your vehicle.
🧳Allowed Items
Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted. No roller blades, bicycles, or pets. Store personal items securely at your own risk.
👕Attire
Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. We encourage patriotic colors and gear/uniforms for military and first responders.
