Rapides Junior Runners Fall Series

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Event: Rapides Junior Runners Fall Series provides 4 races in September and October for kids aged 3 to junior high.
• Distances: 3-5 runs 1/2 mile: 6-11 runs 1 mile: 12-14 will run 2 miles.
• Team Participation: Two mile participants can register as individuals or with their Junior High School team via school coach.
• Course: A true cross-country course, closed to traffic, utilizing the grounds of Ward 9 Sports Complex, 3311 Donahue Ferry Road, Pineville, LA 71360.

🎽 Registration and Participant Information

• Chipped Bib: Each participant will receive a chipped bib and a goody bag upon individual registration.
• T-Shirt: Optional t-shirts will be available to print on demand on one to two race mornings, to be determined and announced later.
• Maintaining Bib: Please keep the same bib for all 4 races: replacements can be purchased for $10 at the venue.
• Finisher Medals: Every finisher will receive a finish medal at the finish line of each race.

🏅 Awards and Recognition

• Awards Ceremony: Awards will be presented after the 1 mile race for the top three male and female finishers in each age category: 6-13 years.
• Team Awards: Two mile team competitors will receive team awards.

📅 2025 Fall Series Schedule

• Registration and Packet Pick-up: 9-4-25 from 4:00-6:00 pm at Ward 9 Sportsplex, Pineville, LA.
• Race 1: September 6, 2025
• Race 2: September 20, 2025
• Race 3: October 4, 2025
• Race 4: October 25, 2025

⏰ Race Day Schedule

• Start Times: 1 Mile first at 8:00 am, 1/2 mile following conclusion of 1 mile race, 2 mile race at approximately 8:45.
• Arrival Time: Please arrive at the race site at least 15 minutes prior to the listed race times.
