Rapides Junior Runners Fall Series

Event Overview

Rapides Junior Runners Fall Series provides 4 races in late August thru October for kids aged 3 to Junior High.

• Ages 3-5: runs a short distance for a Fun Run:
• Ages 6-11: runs 1 mile:
• Ages 12-14: will run 2 miles:

• Note: No race day registration will be available.

Course Details

The course is a true cross-country course, closed to traffic and utilizes the grounds of:

• Location: Ward 9 Sports Complex:
• Address: 3311 Donahue Ferry Road, Pineville:
• Chipped Bib: each participant will receive a bib to be kept and re-used:
• Replacement Bib: available for purchase at the venue for $10.

Awards and Recognition

Every one mile and Fun Run finisher will receive a medal at the finish line each race.

• Awards: presented following the 1 mile race:
• Categories: top three male and female for each age from 6 to 11:
• Team Awards: for two-mile team competitors:

2026 Fall Series Schedule

• 2 Mile runs: at 7:45 am:
• 5 and under Fun Run: at approximately 8:15:
• 1 Mile Run: at approximately 8:30:
• Note: Please be at race site at least 15 minutes prior to the start time.

Additional Information

• November 7: Rainout Date if needed:
• November 14: Louisiana State Championship race for 1 and 2 milers (additional $15 registration optional).
