Join us for our 14th Annual 5K Run/Walk May 2, 2025

🌍 Course

• Distance: 5K night race will go through Historic Downtown Wauchula. Finish line & awards ceremony will be held at Heritage Park on Main Street.
• Fun Races: 1 Mile Fun Run & Kids ½ Dash will loop around Downtown Wauchula and finish on Main Street.

🗓️ Race Week Schedule

• Check-in: 5:30pm - 6:45pm at the Hardee County Courthouse (417 West Main Street, Wauchula, FL 33873)
• Kids ½ Dash: 6:00pm
• 1 Mile Fun Run: 6:15pm (for all ages)
• 5K Start: 7:00pm: Awards - Approximately 8:30pm at Heritage Park Pavilion

💲 Entry Fees

• Early Bird: $20 (thru Dec 31st & T-Shirt Guaranteed)
• Pre-Registration: $25 (thru April 19th & T-Shirt Guaranteed)
• Late Registration: $30 (April 20th thru May 1st & T-Shirt not Guaranteed), $35 (Race Day & T-Shirt not Guaranteed)
• Kids Registration: $10-$25 (varies by date and includes T-shirt guarantee)

👥 Register a Team

Team Captain’s must register their team first, before team members can join. Team Awards will be given out this year to:

• Largest Team: Team with the most people
• Fastest Team: Aggregate time for the first 5 runners to cross the line for a team.

📦 Packet Pick Up

Teams & Individuals can pick up their packets (which includes race t-shirt) on Wednesday, April 30th from 10am - 6pm at 215 W Orange Street, Wauchula. Packets can be mailed for an additional $6

🏅 Virtual Race

Participants in the virtual race can run or walk anywhere... in their neighborhoods, at home on a treadmill, in a park, or even on church grounds. There will not be a set route: you can run wherever you’d like and submit your times online between April 26-May 2.

⚠️ Special Instructions

While headphones & baby strollers are permissible, pet animals are not allowed on the race route.

🏆 Awards

5K - Overall male & female, masters, grand masters, senior grand masters, veteran grand masters, 1st, 2nd, & 3rd in various age categories.

Kids ½ Dash, 1 Mile Fun Run, & Virtual Race - Everyone will receive a key chain medal.
