SendMeMissions 5K Run/Walk

Event Overview

Join us for our 15th Annual 5K Run/Walk on May 1, 2026.

Course Details

• 5K Night Race: The 5K night race will go through Historic Downtown Wauchula.
• Finish Line: The finish line & awards ceremony will be held at Heritage Park on Main Street.
• Fun Runs: 1 Mile Fun Run & Kids ½ Dash will loop around Downtown Wauchula and finish on Main Street.

Race Week Schedule

• Check-in: 5:30pm - 6:45pm at the Hardee County Courthouse (417 West Main Street, Wauchula, FL 33873)
• Kids ½ Dash: 6:00pm
• 1 Mile Fun Run: 6:15pm (for all ages)
• 5K Start: 7:00pm: Awards approximately at 8:30pm at Heritage Park Pavilion.

• Early Bird Registration: $20 thru Dec 31st & T-Shirt Guaranteed
• Pre-Registration: $25 thru April 18th & T-Shirt Guaranteed
• Late Registration: $30 from April 19th to April 30th & T-Shirt not Guaranteed
• Race Day: $35 & T-Shirt not Guaranteed

• Kids 12 & Under - Early Bird: $10 thru Dec 31st & T-Shirt Guaranteed
• Kids 12 & Under - Pre-Registration: $15 thru April 18th & T-Shirt Guaranteed
• Kids 12 & Under - Late Registration: $20 from April 19th to April 30th
• Kids 12 & Under - Race Day: $25 & T-Shirt not Guaranteed

Special Track Team Pricing: $15 (t-shirt not included) or $20 (t-shirt included)

Register a Team

Team Captain’s must register their team first before team members can join. Team Awards will be given for:

• Largest Team: Team with the most people
• Fastest Team: Aggregate time for the first 5 runners to cross the line for a team.

Packet Pick Up

Teams & Individuals can pick up their packets (which includes race t-shirt) on Wednesday, April 29th from 10am - 6pm at 215 W Orange Street, Wauchula. Packets can be mailed for an additional $7 (will be mailed between April 27-April 28).

Virtual Race

Participants in the virtual race can run or walk anywhere... in their neighborhoods, at home on a treadmill, in a park, or even on church grounds. There will not be a set route: you can run wherever you’d like and submit your times online between April 24-May 1.

Special Instructions

While headphones & baby strollers are permissible, pet animals are not allowed on the race route.

Awards

5K awards will be given for overall male & female, masters, grand masters, senior grand masters, veteran grand masters, and for age categories:

• 1st, 2nd, & 3rd for ages 8 & under, 9-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & above

Kids ½ Dash, 1 Mile Fun Run, & Virtual Race - Everyone will receive a key chain medal.
