2026 brings in our 12th year of our 5K Honor Run/Walk and 10K Road Race - the only Road Race in La Crosse County - to honor those we may have lost to addiction, who are struggling in active addiction or those that are thriving in recovery!
Recovery from substance use and the cycle of addiction is achievable. This run celebrates the real possibility of living a full and wholesome life free from the addiction cycle and its destructive effects: restoration of body-mind-soul and healed relationships with a hope for a bright future.
Home Run for Recovery will be a 5K Run/Walk, 10K Road Race and Little Leaguer's race around the bases (for young kids) or around the warning track (older kids) of the Logger's Baseball Stadium.
Races will be timed and results will be split into four categories for the top three men and women, who will be provided with an award:
If registered by August 14th you will be guaranteed the t-shirt size you registered for. Come out and support a great cause!
NEW THIS YEAR!!! While the 5K and 10K race is going there will be volunteers with whiffle ball equipment in the outfield ready to play some whiffle ball with any kids hanging out for their race.
Registration is open from Monday, June 1st to Thursday, September 3rd at midnight. Same day registration will be available at an additional cost.
Results will be provided on the Home Run Facebook page here and the Home Run page here on the Coulee Recovery Center's Website.
Race bibs pick up will be on Friday, September 4th from 4-6pm at Coulee Recovery Center (933 Ferry St. La Crosse, WI) or at Logger Stadium on race day starting at 6:30am, with a hard cut off at 7:45am so the race can begin on time.
Run as a group or on your own! Do you have someone you are running for – create a sign or video and post that to our Facebook page!
