🏃‍♂️ Home Run for Recovery

2025 brings in our 11th year of our 5K Honor Run/Walk and 10K Road Race - the only Road Race in La Crosse County - to honor those we may have lost to addiction, who are struggling in active addiction or those that are thriving in recovery!

📈 Addiction Awareness

Drug and alcohol substance abuse has touched many friends and families. More Wisconsinites are dying from drug overdoses, in the last 7 years there has been an average of 1,359 deaths, 151 of those in La Crosse County.

🌟 The Path to Recovery

Impact: All of us have been touched in some way by addiction.
Hope: Recovery from substance use and the cycle of addiction is achievable.
Celebration: This run celebrates the real possibility of living a full and wholesome life free from the addiction cycle.
Restoration: Focus on restoration of body-mind-soul and healed relationships.

🎯 Objectives of the Race

Awareness: Raise awareness of what addiction is.
Resources: Highlight the Coulee Recovery Center and the resources it provides.
Funds: Raise funds for recovery support and relapse prevention programming.

🏅 The Race Experience

Home Run for Recovery will be a 5K Run/Walk, 10K Road Race, and Little Leaguer’s race around the bases (for young kids) or around the warning track (older kids) of the Logger's Baseball Stadium. A unique trait of this race is that all races will lead off at home plate of the Logger's Stadium, Copeland Park, La Crosse, WI. As you return "Home," the crowd can watch you cross the finish line (or slide into home plate if you so desire) like their favorite Loggers on game day.

👕 Participant Perks

T-Shirts: Participants in the 10K and 5K will receive a T-shirt with each registration.
Youth Prizes: Youth participants get free Logger's memorabilia during the little leaguers races.
Awards: Results will be split into four categories for the top three men and women.
Registration Deadline: Guarantee your t-shirt size by registering by August 1st.

💰 Registration Costs

10K: $35*
5K: $25*
Little Leaguers Race: FREE, just show up on the day of the event.
Note: Race day cost will be an additional $5.

📅 Registration and Packet Pickup

Registration is open from Monday, June 2nd to Thursday, August 28th at midnight. Same-day registration will be available at an additional cost. Race bibs pickup will be on Friday, August 29th from 4-7pm at the Coulee Recovery Center (933 Ferry St. La Crosse, WI) or at Logger Stadium on race day starting at 6:30am.
