Event Overview

• Event: The JP5K & Fun Run is a fundraising event that supports the Special Services Department at Saint John Paul the Great Catholic High School. Everyone is welcome!
• Participants: All students, family, and friends are invited to participate in the JP5K.
• Cost: The cost of the race is $30 for early bird (ending October 15th) or $35 per person after October 15th.
• Discounts: Multi-person discounts are available on the sign-up page.

Early Bird Pricing

• Deadline: EARLY BIRD PRICING EXTENDED THROUGH OCTOBER 22nd.

Race Details

• Date and Time: Saturday, March 13th, 2027, at 8:30 AM.
• Location: Saint John Paul the Great Catholic High School.

Special Services Department

• Options Program: Provides individualized, inclusive special education for students with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities.
• Laudare Program: Offers specialized support to students with a documented learning disability.
• Academic Support Program: Supports students who, with assistance, can succeed with the college-prep curriculum.

Fundraiser Information

• Be a Fundraiser: Become an individual fundraiser or donate. Fundraisers can earn prizes based on how much they raise including an AirPod Pro, PS5, virtual reality headset, or a laptop!
• Participation: All can participate regardless of relation to John Paul.

Student House Participation Challenge

• Points System: This is a marquee event. Points will be awarded to houses based on participation.

T-Shirts

• Included Shirt: The registration fee includes a white short-sleeve cotton t-shirt.
• Long-sleeve Option: There’s an option to select a black long-sleeve moisture-wicking t-shirt for an additional $10.
• Guarantee: Registrations received after October 15th are not guaranteed a T-shirt by race day.

Packet Pickup Details

• Pickup Dates: Race packets will be available for pick-up at JP on Thursday, November 6th, and Friday, November 7th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
• Location: In front of the school by the library entrance.
• Race Day: Packets will also be available for pickup on Race Day.
• Mailing Request: Participants outside the local area may request to have race packets mailed by emailing [email protected].

Race Day Information

• Registration: Opens at 7:30 AM for same-day registrations and packet pick-up.
• Online Registration: Registration on Race Day is not required if you’ve registered online and picked up your Race Packet.

Pancake Breakfast

• Event: Immediately following the 5K, please plan to stop by the Pancake Breakfast hosted by the National Honor Society.
• Donations: Donations will be accepted, and all proceeds will support the Special Services.

Volunteers

• Need: Volunteers are needed on Race Day and days prior to race day.
• Sign Up: Sign up at jpthegreat.org/family.

50-50 Raffle

• Ticket Prices: Buy tickets for 1 for $10, 3 for $20, and 20 for $50.
• Prize: The winner takes home half of the proceeds.

Virtual Participants

• Results Submission: Select the RESULTS menu to submit your results.
• Process: Look for POST VIRTUAL RESULTS and click SUBMIT VIRTUAL RESULTS. Search by name or email, then click SUBMIT VIRTUAL RESULTS again.
