JP5K & FUN RUN

🏃‍♀️ Race Overview

The JP5K & Fun Run is a fundraising event that supports the Special Services Department at Saint John Paul the Great Catholic High School. Everyone is welcome! All students, family, and friends are invited to participate in the JP5K. The cost of the race is $30 for early bird (ending October 15th) or $35 per person after October 15th, multi-person discounts available on the sign-up page.

📅 Event Details

• In-Person Race: Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 8:30 AM at Saint John Paul the Great Catholic High School
• Virtual Race: Anytime during November 1-8, 2025

🤝 Special Services Department

The Special Services Department includes the Options Program, the Laudare Program, and the Academic Support Program.

• Options Program: Provides individualized, inclusive special education for students with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities.
• Laudare Program: Provides specialized support to students with a documented learning disability.
• Academic Support Program: Supports students to succeed with the competitive college-prep curriculum.

💰 Fundraising

Become an individual fundraiser or donate. Fundraisers can earn prizes based on how much they raise including an AirPod Pro, PS5, virtual reality headset, or even a laptop!

🏆 Participation Challenge

This is a marquee event. Points will be awarded to houses based on participation.

👕 T-Shirts

The registration fee includes a white short-sleeve cotton t-shirt. There’s an option to select a black long-sleeve moisture-wicking t-shirt for an additional $10. Registrations received after Wednesday, October 15th, are not guaranteed a T-shirt by race day.

📦 Packet Pickup Details

Race packets will be available for pick-up at JP on Thursday, November 6th, and Friday, November 7th from 2:00pm-4:00pm in front of the school by the library entrance. Race packets will also be available for pick up on Race Day. Participants who are located outside of the local area may request to have their race packets mailed to them.

🕖 Race Day Information

Registration Opens at 7:30 am on Race Day for same-day registrations and packet pick-up.

🥞 Pancake Breakfast

Immediately following the 5K, please plan to stop by the Pancake Breakfast hosted by the National Honor Society. Donations will be accepted, and all proceeds will go to support the Special Services.

🙌 Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are needed on Race Day and days prior to race day. Sign up at jpthegreat.org/family.

🎟️ 50-50 Raffle

Buy tickets for the raffle for 1 for $10, 3 for $20, and 20 for $50. The winner takes home half of the proceeds.

💻 Virtual Participants

Select the RESULTS menu (on the left) to submit your results. Search by name or email, then click SUBMIT VIRTUAL RESULTS again. You can either enter your time or just click that you finished.
