Event Details

• Date: Saturday, August 15, 2026
• Start Times:
  • 7:30 A.M. for Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
  • 7:45 A.M. for 5K
  • Free little kids race immediately after the 5K start

Race Activities

• Events: 5K Run/Walk & 13.1 Mile Run, Free Kids Run
• Registration: Online registration closes at 11:59 PM on August 14th
• Bib Pickup: Available on August 15th from 6:15-7:00 A.M.
• Location: 118 North 9th Street, Mora, MN

Race Shirts

• Eligibility: Shirts provided for participants pre-registered by August 1, 2026
• Shirt Availability: Women's and unisex shirts available
• Fit: Women's cut is a slim fit: sizing up is recommended if in between sizes
• Claim Policy: Any unclaimed shirts post-race will be available to others

Course Information

• Certification: Both courses are certified: road construction may affect this
• Markers:
  • Half Marathon marked with orange footprints
  • 5K marked with green footprints
• Support: Timing ends 3 hours and 15 minutes after the start
• Weather Policy: Delays up to 60 minutes for severe weather: cancellation if weather does not clear

Registration Process

• Location: Start/Finish area at the athletic complex behind Mora Elementary & Mora High School
• Access: Park in the main lot and follow the fire lane
• No In-Person Registration: On Friday night: available online or on race day
• Map: Map available for parking and bib pick-up

Awards

• Half Marathon: Trophies for top three males and females, medals for age group finishers
• 5K: Trophies for the top overall male and female, medals for age group finishers
• Local Finishers: Medals for top local (Kanabec County) finishers in both events

• Timing Limit: No support or water stops after 3 hours and 15 minutes
