Join us for the Mora Half Marathon and 5K on Saturday, August 15, 2026!
📅Event Details
- Date: Saturday, August 15, 2026
- Start Times: 7:30 A.M. for Half Marathon (13.1 miles) and 7:45 A.M. for 5K
- Kids Race: Free little kids race immediately after the start of the 5K: line up by 7:45
- Location: 118 North 9th Street, Mora, MN
🏅Race Events
- Distances: 5K Run/Walk & 13.1 Mile Run, Free Kids Run
- Registration: ONLINE registration closes at 11:59 PM August 14th
- Bib Pickup: Same day registration and bib pick up from 6:15-7 a.m. on August 15th
- Shirts: Race shirts for participants pre-registered by August 1, 2026. Note: ladies' and unisex options available.
📍Course Information
- Certification: Both half marathon and 5K courses are certified, but may be affected by road construction.
- Markings: Half marathon is marked with orange footprints: 5K is marked with green footprints.
- Registration: In person registration available Friday 5-7 p.m. & Saturday 6:15-7:00 a.m.
- Location: Start/finish area at the athletic complex behind Mora Elementary & Mora High School.
💲Entry Fees
- Early Bird: Registration until March 1st: $40 for half marathon and $25 for 5K.
- Awards: Trophies and medals for top finishers in various categories.
- Local Awards: Medals for top local (Kanabec County) male and female finishers.
- Timing: Official timing for the half marathon will end 3 hours and 15 minutes after the start.
⛈️Weather Policy
- Delay: In the event of severe weather, the start may be delayed by 30 minutes.
- Maximum Delay: A maximum delay of 60 minutes may occur.
- Cancellation: If weather does not clear, the event may be canceled.
- Insurance: Available for purchase at checkout.
