Panda 5K & 1K Fun Run

Event Overview

Parkway Elementary School will once again be hosting its Parkway Panda 5K & 1K Fun Run event. The course will wind its way through beautiful Baker Park and the surrounding neighborhoods. This fun event will benefit the Parkway Elementary School community.

Start Location

• Location: Near Baker Park Bandshell
• Address: 21 N. Bentz St., Frederick, MD 21701

Race Start Times

• 1K Fun Run: 8:30am
• 5K: 9:00am

Race Shirts

• Shirts Provided: Race shirts for the 5K and 1K will be provided to all participants who register by Friday, May 01, 2026.
• Post Deadline: For those who register after May 02, race shirts will be given out on a first come-first serve basis, if available.
• Registration Time: In-person, race day registration will open up at 7:30am.

Packet Pick-Up

• Date: Packets can be picked up from the front steps of Parkway Elementary School on Friday, May 22 between 3:30-4:30pm.
• Race Day: Packets can also be picked up on race day starting at 7:30am.

Awards

• Categories: Awards will be given out to top finishers in different categories: 7 and under, 8-9, 10-11, 12-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 - 69 and 70+
