📅 Event Details and Schedule

Location: Arkansas Bend Park, 16900 Cherry Lane, Lago Vista TX 78645

Event Schedule:

• 6:30 AM - Parking lots open
• 7:00 AM - Check-in and late registration begins
• 7:30 AM - 10K Trail Run starts
• 8:00 AM - 5K Trail Run starts
• 9:30 AM - Awards ceremony begins
• 11:00 AM - Event concludes

🏞️ Course Information

• 5K (3.1 miles): A scenic loop through Arkansas Bend Park's main trails. Suitable for all levels.
• 10K (6.2 miles): A more challenging course extending into the park's secondary trails. Includes varied terrain.
• Course Marking: Both courses will be clearly marked with signage and staffed by volunteers.
• Water Stations: Water stations will be available.

🚗 Arrival and Parking Information

Arrival Information:

• Plan Ahead: Plan to arrive at least 45 minutes before your race start time.
• Event Parking: Follow signs for event parking and check-in areas.
• Late Check-in: Late check-in closes 15 minutes before each race start.

Parking Information:

• Free Parking: Free parking is available in designated lots at Arkansas Bend Park.
• Carpooling Recommended: Carpooling is encouraged due to limited space.
• Follow Instructions: Follow parking attendants' instructions for smooth traffic flow.

📝 Waivers and ID

• Waiver Required: All participants must sign a waiver.
• Valid ID: Bring a valid photo ID for verification.
• Minor's Waiver: Participants under 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.

🎒 What to Bring

• Confirmation: Your confirmation email or registration ID
• Water: Water bottle (refill stations available)
• Snacks: Post-race snacks if desired
• Essentials: Sunscreen and bug spray
• Change of Clothes: A change of clothes for after the race

👟 What to Wear

• Clothing: Comfortable, moisture-wicking running clothes
• Shoes: Trail running shoes recommended
• Protection: Hat or visor for sun protection
• Layers: Layers appropriate for weather conditions

🔍 Additional Important Details

• Bib and Timing: Bib numbers and timing chips will be provided at packet pickup.
• Safety First: No headphones allowed on the course for safety reasons.
• First Aid: First aid stations will be available at the start/finish area and on the course.
• Photography: Photography and videography will be taking place: your participation grants us permission to use your image.
• Dog Policy: Dogs are not permitted on the race course but are welcome in designated park areas.
• Weather Updates: In case of inclement weather, check our website or social media for updates.
• Lost and Found: Lost and found will be located at the information tent.

🎉 Post-Race

• Refreshments: Refreshments will be available for all participants.
• Results: Results will be posted online after the event.
• Collect Medal: Don't forget to collect your finisher's medal!
