Lake Placid Marathon and Half and 10K

Race Overview

Join us for the Lake Placid Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10K on Sunday, June 13, 2027. The race starts at 8 AM and has a cutoff time of 2 PM for both the Marathon and Half, with the 10K running concurrently.

Course Details

• Half Marathon: Single loop out and back.
• Marathon: Double out and back.
• Starting Point: All races begin on Main St. in the charming Village of Lake Placid.
• Finish Line: End at the Olympic Speedskating Oval.

Race Experience

• Course Terrain: Combination of flat, rolling, and some hills.
• Sights: Enjoy mountain views, shaded areas, and beautiful Mirror Lake.
• Aid Stations: Well-stocked aid stations along the route.
• Course Limit: Generous six (6) hour course limit for each race.

Registration Info

• Age Restrictions: Marathon limited to those 16 yrs and older on race day.
• Parent Signature: Required for participants under 18 years old.
• Charity Component: Entry fees include donations to both human and animal/environmental charities.
• Transfers and Refunds: Not available: deferrals subject to approval and re-registration fee.
