Lake Placid Marathon and Half and 10K

Event Overview

The Lake Placid Marathon and Half and 10K will be held on June 14, 2026, starting at 8 am.

• Location: 2634 Main St, Lake Placid, NY
• Cutoff Time: 2pm for both Marathon and Half
• Concurrent Events: 10K will run at the same time

Course Description

The Half Marathon is a single loop out and back, while the Marathon is a double out and back.

• Start/End: Both races begin/end on Main St. at the Olympic Speedskating Oval
• Terrain: A combination of flat, rolling, and some hills
• Sightseeing: Enjoy mountain views, a class III trout stream, and beautiful Mirror Lake
• Aid Stations: Well-stocked aid stations will be available

Event Perks

• Course Limit: A generous six (6) hour course limit for each race
• Food: Athlete food at the Race Finish
• Finisher Medal: Quality finisher medal for all participants
• T-shirt: 2026 race T-shirt (note on possible changes)

• Age Restrictions: Marathon participants must be 16 yrs and older: minors need a parent's signature
