Bolingbrook Howl-O-Ween 5K

Event Overview

Love those 4-legged friends of ours? Have a soft spot for rescue animals? Or just want to get some exercise? This event is for you!

Race Details

Join us for our fourth annual 6-legged 5K! Run or walk, with or without your furry friend for a festive Halloween themed event. Registration comes with a Howl-O-Ween 5K sweatshirt, participation medal and race bib. You do not need a dog or costume to participate but we highly encourage both!

Awards

• Overall Winners: Awards will be given to the top male and female finishers.
• Age Group Awards: The top male and female finishers in the following age groups will also receive an award: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-65, 66+.

Dog Guidelines

• Responsibility: You are responsible for the actions of your dog.
• Leashing: Dogs must be leashed at all times.
• Leash Length: Leashes must not exceed 8 feet.
• Aggression Policy: No dogs with known aggressive behavior toward other dogs or people may participate.
• Etiquette: Be polite: pick up and dispose of dog feces.

Registration Fees

• Pre-registration: $35 (before September 27)
• Regular Registration: $40 (September 28 - October 18)
• Online Registration: Open until 8:00 am Saturday, October 18, 2026.
• Note: Please note that any registrations after September 27, 2026 are not guaranteed a sweatshirt or their requested size on race day.
