Bolingbrook Howl-O-Ween 5K

🐾 Event Overview

Love those 4-legged friends of ours? Have a soft spot for rescue animals? Or just want to get some exercise? This event is for you!

Join us for our third annual 6-legged 5K! Run or walk, with or without your furry friend for a festive Halloween themed event. Registration comes with a Howl-O-Ween 5K sweatshirt, participation medal and race bib. You do not need a dog or costume to participate but we highly encourage both!

🏆 Awards

Awards will be given to the overall top male and female finishers. The top male and female finishers in the following age groups will also receive an award:

• Age Group 14 & under: Top finisher award
• Age Group 15-19: Top finisher award
• Age Group 20-29: Top finisher award
• Age Group 30-39: Top finisher award
• Age Group 40-49: Top finisher award
• Age Group 50-59: Top finisher award
• Age Group 60-65: Top finisher award
• Age Group 66+: Top finisher award

🐶 Dog Guidelines

If you do bring your 4-legged friend along, you must adhere to the following guidelines:

• Responsibility: You are responsible for the actions of your dog.
• Leash Requirement: Dogs must be leashed at all times.
• Leash Length: Leashes must not exceed 8 feet.
• Behavior: No dogs with known aggressive behavior toward other dogs or people may participate.
• Courtesy: Be polite: pick up and dispose of dog feces.

📝 Registration Information

Pre-registration (before September 21): $35

Regular Registration (September 22 - October 11): $40

Online registration is open until 8:00am Saturday, October 11, 2025.

Please note that any registrations after September 21, 2025 are not guaranteed a sweatshirt or their requested size on race day.
