Fall Creek Falls Half Marathon, 10K & 5K Road Runs

Event Overview

Come enjoy the beauty of Tennessee's most popular state park. Cooler temps, shaded run course, and the highest free-falling waterfall east of the Rocky Mountains are just a few of the attractions of the Fall Creek Falls Half Marathon, 10K & 5K Runs. Post-race snacks and music for all participants. Centrally located between Nashville, Chattanooga, and Knoxville. Race start time is 7 AM Central Time.

Aid Stations & Athlete Amenities

• Aid Stations: Aid stations will have cups of WATER & GATORADE & will be at each of 5 stations on loop.
• Hydration: ATHLETES ARE URGED TO CARRY A BOTTLE OR CONTAINER FOR RE-FILL.
• T-Shirts & Finisher Medal/Award: T-SHIRTS & FINISHER MEDAL/AWARD FOR EACH DISTANCE.
• Further Information: Additional information and clarification will go out August 1st.

Registration Details

• No On-Site Registration: NO ON-SITE REGISTRATION.
• Packet Pick-Up: Packet pick up is Saturday, August 15 from 5:00 to 6:30 PM CST & Sunday, August 16 from 6 AM to 15 minutes prior to each race start.
• Race Timing: Half Marathon will start at 7:00 AM & 10K at 7:15 AM & 5K at 7:30 AM.
• Pre-Event Information: Pre-event information will be sent to participants the week of the event.

Course Information

• Route Details: Routes begin & end through the Taft Village area and across Fall Creek Falls Dam.
• 5K Route: 5K does an out & back on paved path through woods to LEFT after Dam.
• Half Marathon & 10K Route: Half Marathon & 10K route goes RIGHT after Dam & follows paved path & park roads past the Inn at Fall Creek Falls back to Dam and FINISH in Taft Village area.
• Course Safety: Please stay on side of road marked with TRAFFIC CONES on the MAIN PARK ROAD of the course.

Fall Creek Falls State Park, Pikeville, TN (please allow extra travel time – park is remote & rural but worth the trip!)

Age Groups and Awards

• Overall Awards: Overall awards for the top three male and female finishers, top male and female Masters (40+).
• Age Group Awards: Age group awards for first, second, and third place in the following M & F age groups: 12-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-55, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over.

Event Policies

• Event Insurance: Bald Eagle Events has enabled event insurance for your consideration in the event you are unable to compete.
• Refund Policy: Bald Eagle Events has a NO REFUND policy: insurance is available during registration.
• Transfer Policy: Race entries are non-transferable between individuals.
• Cancellation / Modification: In case of Natural Disaster or Community Disaster, Bald Eagle Events will make decisions based on safety first.
