Dog Jog 5K and Fun Run

Event Overview

The CHA Animal Shelter's 36th Annual Dog Jog will take place on Sunday, October 4, 2026! We are excited again to offer an in-person option at Genoa Park in downtown Columbus, as well as a virtual option for those who cannot participate on race day but would still like to contribute to the cause! As a participant, you have the option to sign up for either event option when you register.

In-Person Event Details

• Location: Genoa Park, downtown Columbus
• Experience: Scenic run/walk with a variety of vendor booths
• Activities: Participate in games and other activities
• Date: October 4, 2026

Virtual Event Information

• Timing: Not officially timed for the race
• Participation Window: October 4 to October 11
• Route: Run/walk along favorite neighborhood routes or local bike paths
• Restrictions: Must be done where running and walking is safely permitted
