• Legacy: Chad was a native of Wilkes County, passed on July 9, 2016.
• Education: Graduate of Wilkes Central High School and UNC Wilmington.
• Passions: Enjoyed music, hiking, surfing, camping, and family.
• Inspiration: This race honors Chad's love for life and the outdoors.
