Colton's Main Street Run
The 16th annual Colton's Main Street Run honors Colton Sherrill, a 10-year-old athlete and Durant Main Street volunteer who passed away 18 years ago from an unknown heart defect while playing basketball.

Proceeds
Proceeds support CPR and AED education, emergency equipment for schools and communities, higher education scholarships, and community projects.
Accomplishments
- AEDs: 211 AEDs purchased for area schools and the community-provided training and yearly supplies for schools.
- Stop the Bleed Kits: Donated 645 Stop the Bleed Kits and 74 LifeVac Choking Rescue Devices to area schools.
- Facility Improvements: Purchased bleachers for Colton's Field and other enhancements at Durant Sports Complex. In 2022, we purchased 2 new soccer goals and nets.
- PPE Funding: Donated $25,000 to county schools to purchase PPE.
Community Support
- Scholarship Fund: Endowed Colton Sherrill Memorial Scholarship Fund at Southeastern Oklahoma State University providing 44 scholarships to area students.
- Crooked Smile Trail: Created in partnership with Southeastern Oklahoma State University for local cross-country teams and public use, with a $10,000 donation for the bridge project in 2024.
- ADA Facilities: 2 ADA Wheelchair Swing Sets located at Durant City Parks.
- Main Street Impact: In 2024, contributed 831 volunteer hours and $618,400 reinvested in Durant Main Street.
CPR and AED Classes
- Partnership: CPR and AED classes in partnership with Bryan County EMS.
- 2025 Funding: In 2025, provided $74,000 in grants and community support to fund health and safety projects in Oklahoma.
