• 5K Start Time: 9 am
• 1 Mile Walk & Wag Start Time: 9:45 am

Race Details

• Packet Pickup: Race Day after 8 am
• Medal Awards: Given out after the 1 Mile Walk & Wag
• Pet Participation: Well-behaved pets on leashes are welcome
• Costume Contest: Following the 1 Mile Event with categories for dogs, kids, and themed with your dog

Registration Information

• 5K Registration Fee: $25 before October 15th, 2026 to guarantee your t-shirt on race day
• 1 Mile Registration Fee: $20 before October 15th, 2026 to guarantee your t-shirt on race day
• Children Participation: Free entry for children 6 years old and under with a registered adult
• On-Site Restrooms: Available

Medals and Prizes

• 5K Medals: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for Men, Women, and 17 & Under Divisions
• Dog Prize: Awarded to the 1st dog across the finish line
• Top Virtual 5K Finisher: Prize awarded

Virtual Participation

• New Addition: Virtual portion for the 5K available for out-of-state participants
• Registration Period: Sept 30th through October 30th
• T-shirt Options: Option to have a t-shirt shipped or donate the cost back to the rescue
• Submission Deadline: Time submitted by Friday, October 30th, 2026, at 11:59 pm via email freedomrideanimalrescue@gmail.com
