• Produced By: The Official Las Cruces Electric 5k is Volunteer produced by runners for runners!!!
• Registration Benefits: Runners enjoy Tech Shirt, Race swag, and Age Group Awards separate from Top 3 Overall
• Course: This is a Closed Course Race!!!

• Free Entry: Free to runners age 14 and under.
• Photography: Race photos posted results page (tagged by bib #).
• Finisher Videos: Finisher Video posted to results page.
• Prizes: Prizes for best costume and largest team.

• Events for All: Whether you are a seasoned athlete or just starting your fitness journey, there is an event for everyone.
• Race Options: Our Electric 5k offers 1mile and a 5k.
• Community Support: All proceeds from the registration will be put towards the LCRC Summer youth Program, a series of 1mile fun runs free to kids 14 and under!

📍 Location of Events

• Race Start/Finish: All races begin and end on W Hadley Ave across from the Meerscheidt Center.
• 5k Route: Runs South on W Hadley Ave to Solano north to Madrid, U-turn before Apodaca Baseball field, and retraces back to the finish line.
• Spectator Experience: Street will be lined with thousands of spectators waiting to watch the Las Cruces Electric Parade.
• Elevation Gain: Less than 10ft of elevation gain, making it our flattest race.

🕒 Start and Finish Times

• 1 Mile: 7:30 p.m. (chip timing)
• 5K: 8:00 p.m. (chip timing)
• Course Closure: Racecourse will close at 9:30 pm for all events.

🎁 Give Aways

• Free Participants: Will receive a Bib.
• Paid Participants: Will receive a Bib, t-shirt (not guaranteed after 6/12).

🏆 Awards

• 5K Awards: Overall Top 3 Female/Male: 1st-3rd, Top 3 Age group Male/Female (top runners removed).
• 1 Mile Awards: 1-14 Age Group Overall 1st-3rd, 15+ Age Group Overall 1st-3rd.
• Timing: Awards will be based on chip timing.

• Parking Locations: Paz Baseball fields and Las Cruces Skating Park Parking lot off W Hadley.
