• Organizer: Volunteer produced by runners for runners!
• Features: Tech Shirt, Race swag, and Age Group Awards separate from Top 3 Overall.
• Course: This is a closed course race!
• Events: Offers a 1 mile and a 5k for all fitness levels.

Community Impact

• Proceeds: Portions of proceeds go to the LCRC Summer youth Program.
• Support: Fun runs free to kids 14 and under and donations to local high school cross-country programs!
• Inclusivity: Events for both seasoned athletes and beginners!

Race Details

• Age Limit: Free for runners age 14 and under.
• Extras: Race photos posted on results page, tagged by bib #.
• Finisher Video: Available on the results page after the race.
• Prizes: Awards for best costume and largest team.

Course Information

• Start/Finish: All races begin and end on W Hadley Ave across from the Meerscheidt Center.
• Route: 5k runs South on W Hadley Ave to Solano, north to Madrid, and makes a U-turn before the Apodaca Baseball field.
• Elevation: Less than 10ft of elevation gain, our flattest race!
• Spectators: Street will be lined with thousands of spectators.

Start and Finish Times

• 1 Mile: 7:30 p.m. (chip timing)
• 5K: 8:00 p.m. (chip timing)
• Course Closure: Racecourse will close at 9:30 pm for all events.

Giveaways

• Free Participants: Receive a Bib.
• Paid Participants: Receive a Bib and t-shirt (not guaranteed after 6/12).

Awards

• 5K Awards: Overall Top 3 Female/Male: 1st-3rd.
• Age Group Awards: Top 3 Age group Male/Female (top runners removed).
• 1 Mile Awards: Age Group 1-14 Overall 1st-3rd: Age Group 15+ Overall 1st-3rd.
• Timing: Awards will be based on chip timing.

Event Parking

• Locations: Paz Baseball fields and Las Cruces Skating Park parking lot off W Hadley.
