Tulsa Running Club is renewing its Equalizer 5K — a challenge among the ages.

📍 Event Details

• Date: July 19, 2025
• Location: Mohawk Park, Shelter #3, 4301 Creek Dr, Tulsa, OK 74115
• Start Times: Staggered by age/gender groups: oldest starts first
• Finishers: Top 10 individuals receive finisher flags!

⏰ Race Format

The Equalizer 5K is an atypical race, leveling the entire field with staggered start times based on every age/gender group’s 5K state record!

• Staggered Starts: Males ages 85-over start at 7:30 a.m.
• Example: Males 20-39 start at 7:51:38 a.m.
• Recognition: Pits young against older runners
• Clock: Running clock: not electronically timed

📝 Registration & Fees

• Pre-Race Registration: $25 until July 13, 2025
• Price Increase: $30 starting July 14, 2025
• Inclusions: Cool TRC logo running crew socks for entrants

📦 Packet Pickup

• Location: REI, 6939 S. Elwood Ave, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74132
• Pickup Dates: July 17 and July 18, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM
• Race-Day Registration: $30
• Packet Pickup Time: Opens at 6:45 a.m., closes at 7:15 a.m.

💧 Race Day Notes

Be at your designated group corral 5 minutes before your start time. The complete list of start times will be posted at the race. Be ready! Many groups are only seconds apart.

There will be a water station at about the halfway point of the race.
