Course Description
- Course Type: European style cross country course
- Surface: Hay bales on grass, dirt, and asphalt
- Loops: 5K is two loops, 1.5 Mile is one loop
- Start Location: Near Ramada #10 at the southwest corner of Reid Park
Participation Guidelines
- Strollers: Welcome but course is hilly and mostly on grass and dirt
- Safety: No dogs allowed for safety reasons
- Gender Participation: Running in the opposite gender race may delay results by 48 hours and makes you ineligible for awards
- T-Shirts: Cotton T-shirts in unisex, women's, and youth options available, first come, first served
Awards
- 5K Awards: Overall male and female winners receive Brooks running shoes from The Running Shop
- Age Groups: 10 and under, 11-13, 14-16, 17-19, 20-24, 5 year divisions through age 84, and 85 and over
- Additional Prizes: Thanksgiving themed awards for first place, pies for second, medals for third
- Fun Run: Finishers will receive a ribbon
Team Division
- Team Guidelines: Top 4 times of each team of up to 7 members count
- Awards: Top two Men's and Women's teams win awards
- Registration: Teams and members must be registered by Tuesday, November 26, 12:00 pm
- Results: Winners announced on SAR website after confirmation
Packet Pickup
- Location: The Running Shop, 3055 N Campbell Ave #153, Tucson, AZ 85719
- Dates: Saturday, 11/22/25 from 10 am to 5 pm
- Additional Pickup: Monday 11/24/25 to Wednesday 11/26/25 from 10 am to 6 pm
- Race Day: Packet pickup starts at 7:00 AM at Ramada 10

- Donation: Consider bringing a new toy for donation
- Registration: In-person registration available on Wednesday 11-26-25
- Race Morning: Registration opens at 7:00 am at Reid Park
