Event Overview

• Morning Run: Work up an appetite on Thanksgiving morning at Reid Park!
• Course Type: European style cross country with hay bales on grass, dirt, and a little asphalt.
• Race Structure: The 5K has separate races for women and men.
• Loop Details: The 5K course will be two loops: the 1.5 Mile course will be one loop.

Course Information

• Starting Point: Near Ramada #10 at the southwest corner of Reid Park.
• Stroller Friendly: Strollers are welcome, but the hilly course is mostly on grass and dirt.
• Safety Notice: Please no dogs for their safety as well as the safety of all participants.
• Awards Eligibility: Running in the opposite gendered race may delay results and excludes award eligibility.

Shirts and Awards

• T-Shirts: Cotton T-Shirts offered in unisex, women's, and youth options.
• Shirt Distribution: Shirts are first come, first served.
• Awards - 5K: Overall winners receive Brooks running shoes: age groups receive Thanksgiving-themed awards.
• Fun Run: Finishers will receive a ribbon.

Team Division

• Team Setup: Top 4 times of each team (up to 7 members) combined for best team times.
• Award Categories: Top two Women's and Men's teams will win awards.
• Registration Deadline: Teams must be registered by Tuesday, November 24, 6pm.
• Announcement: Winners will be on the SAR website as soon as results are confirmed.

Packet Pickup and Registration

• Pickup Location: At The Running Shop.
• Schedule: Saturday, 11/21/26 from 10am-5pm and Monday to Wednesday 11/23/26 to 11/25/26 from 10am-6pm.
• Onsite Registration: Register on race morning at Reid Park starting at 7am.
• Race Day: Packet pick up starts at 7am at Ramada #10.

Charitable Cause

• Main Benefactor: Race proceeds benefit Toys for Tots.
• Donation Request: Additional donations of new, unwrapped toys are encouraged.
• Drop-off Locations: Toys can be dropped off at The Running Shop and on race day at Reid Park.
• Additional Beneficiaries: Also supporting Team Hoyt Arizona and the Huntington’s Disease Society of America.
