Race Overview
Enjoy a Saturday morning run or walk down the Salado Greenway and stay for the after party where you will enjoy a nice cold big red and some warm barbacoa tacos, lots of music and fun! Join us for the 8th Annual Big Red and Barbacoa 5K run/walk. We have partnered with IAAP to host the Big Red and Barbacoa 5K. We are holding this event to raise funds for our organization. All proceeds for this event will benefit SA Eagles Athletics Club.

Race Details
- Race Time: 8:00am
- Free Kids Run: 7:45am
- Finishers Medals: Awarded to every participant
- Award Medals: Given in 10-year increment age groups
Registration Fees
- Students (17 and Under): $25
- Adults (70 and Above): $30
- Early Bird Registration: $30 (Jan 2026)
- Regular Pricing: $35 (Feb-Mar 2026), $40 (Apr-May 2026), $45 (June 2026), $50 (Race Day)
