- Event: Held in conjunction with the East Prairie Main Street Party & Sweet Corn Festival
- Participants: Runners and walkers of all ages are welcome.
Location, Start/Finish & Parking
- Start/Finish Line: East Prairie Chamber of Commerce / Body Fx Gym - 106 S. Washington, East Prairie, MO
- Registration: Tables will be set up outside in front of the gym.
- Parking: Free street parking is available nearby. Please allow extra time for parking due to the Main Street Party and Sweet Corn Festival.
- Weather: Rain or shine – no refunds.
Registration
- Online Registration: Open through June 12 at 11:59 PM CT
- On-Site Registration: Available from 5:30 PM until race time (first come, first served).
- Payment: We hope to offer credit card payment onsite. Please bring cash or check as backup.
- Fees: Early Bird (through May 15) – $20: May 16 – June 12 – $25: Race Day / Onsite – $30

- Purchase: Not running? Pre-order an official race shirt on www.epsweetcorn.com and pick up the night of the run.
- Sizes: Youth Small – Large: $15: Adult Small – XL: $15: Adult 2XL: $16: Adult 3XL: $17
- Availability: Limited quantities may be available onsite. Sizes not guaranteed.
- Pick Up: Orders can be picked up at Registration on race night.
Packet Pickup & Schedule
- Packet Pickup: 5:30 – 6:25 PM at the EP Chamber of Commerce
- Race Start: 6:30 PM
- Awards Ceremony: Approximately 7:30 PM
Awards
- Top Awards: Presented to Top Overall Male and Top Overall Female
- Age Group Awards: 10 & Under, 11–14, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70+
- Age Determination: Based on race day
Course & Safety
- Route: The Huskers 5K is a flat route along well-marked city streets, sidewalks, and rural highways.
- Traffic Laws: Runners must obey all traffic laws.
- Safety Rules: No pets, bikes, or rollerblades allowed on open roads.
- Support: Race officials will be stationed along the course, including ATV support.
Water Stations & Restrooms
- Water Stations: Multiple water stations will be available along the course.
- Facilities: Portable restrooms and running water facilities will be available at the start/finish location at Body Fx Gym.
